I think they are okay. I always had my doubt maybe because they seem too busy, but when I had an oil leak I had them find the source. They did point out to something. I initially declined because it was a little costly. This led to problems later and I had a dealer run an analysis too. They found the same problem. However, dealer's price to repair it was way more. Benton Auto did it for a fair price.

Nice repair shop built in with the gas station. I called in to schedule an oil change and tire rotation. Prices are reasonable - $70 for synthetic oil + filter change, and $20 for a tire rotation (taxes not included). Business owner prefers cash and will charge about a 3% credit card fee if you choose that route. No smog checks performed here but any tune ups or repair can be done. Will be coming back for some more maintenance work.

Mr. Chavez served us well and was candid, friendly about the service. He did a tune-up of our car in a couple hours. Checked our issues and solved them quickly. Replaced our oil, filters, and belts.

I had an issue with my car, the drivers side headlight was going out and I went to O'Reillys down the street. I paid for the parts for the headlight fuse to be replaced unfortunately O'Reillys was not able to do the repair since they had to cut wires so I went to the nearest mechanic. When I got here they were upset that I already got the parts even though they were exactly the same parts that I had in my vehicle. They were going to charge me $130 for 1 hr without the parts and then when I showed them that I had the parts they push the price down to $95.00. I spoke to two different technicians around the area and they were only going to charge me $50 to do this. The mechanics here at the shop told me it was gonna take them a good half an hour just to take my headlight out when O'Reillys took three minutes. I probably look like a naïve young woman who didn't quite understand about cars. Little did they know I did my research and was able to get this fixed within 25 minutes at a $40 cost. Maybe they were slow or maybe they truly didn't understand how to change a simple headlight fuse. But taking advantage of someone is cruel just because you had a slow day. Hopefully this review helps people not get discriminated by their age or sex or scammed from a slow day.

Came her because I had some hoses leaking on my 335i 09 so I thought had the mechanics "pressure test" the coolant system and they said it was only two hoses leaking I get a call 4 hours later than originally planned pickup and was told I need a "diagnostic" which was gonna run me at least another hour of labor not to mention the $150 in labor I had payyed for two hoses to be replaced when I had dropped the car off agreed upon one hour of labor time had gone up to 1.5 not satistifed at all didn't fix on leak car and had realized these guys moved some stuff in my trunk to drop the convertible hard top.. make sure you know who you're leaving your car with !

Noticed my car was squeaking when I press the breaks. Took it into Benton's to see if they would be able to do a break inspection. They had other cars but were able to do a quick inspection. They gave me a reasonable quote and also took car in same day. Took about three hours w waiting for parts and being seen w/o appointment. Fast, friendly, efficient.

Okay, I don't typically rate family businesses too harsh, but this place was a mix bag for sure. The person who helped me was nice. He fixed one of the problem I had with my car (bad alternator). While he was doing that he offered to change the water pump as well because he thought it was making some noise and may breakdown soon. I trusted his opinion and decided to spend the extra $500. A few weeks later I had a separate issue with my car (engine oil - unrelated) and I consulted two different mechanics for that. While the two mechanics provided different solutions for the new engine oil problem, they both independently agreed that my water pump was leaking and needed to be replaced as well. Pumps last several years so at first I thought they were just trying to inflate $$ by adding more services. But when the second shop said exactly the same thing (and lifted the car to show me the issue), I was convinced that either Benton Auto Repair didn't actually change the pump (that's what the other two mechanic thought after I showed them my receipt to prove that the pump is new) or somehow the new pump has turned very old very quickly. Either case, I didn't go back to Benton Auto repair as I just decided to sell my car but I don't plan to take my business here again. I don't recommend you do that either.

This is my go-to mechanics because they are quick, honest and reasonably priced. But they have put the wrong tire pressure in my car twice after maintenance. My FJ cruiser needed only 32psi, but they always put in 42psi. Gladly my car would warn me when the pressure is off.
