Never had a problem with this pharmacy. Line is fast, I'm always notified appropriately of my prescriptions when ready.

After checking inventory a different cvs location had referred me here as they had the medication that was on back order elsewhere. Pharmacist had seemed irritated as soon as j said ‘hi’ and informed me that they are saving the medication for patients of the pharmacy already and no new prescription can get it. She refused to look in the system and check further on where i can find medication or to help in any way and just tried to hang up on me as soon as she could. Rude and unhelpful.

Worst pharmacy experience. Waited over 8 hours from the doctor's visit for medication to be ready but they didn't have it even at closing time. Unbelievable how a pharmacy can be so slow to not have essential life saving medicine ready for a whole day. Absolute incompetence. Go somewhere else for your pharmacy.

I always have issues picking up my medication here and it's getting really frustrating sometimes i have to go days without my medicatio and I genuinely think im going to discontinue picking my medications up from here.

This store doesn't have a cart for their customers to use. How is a person who has a disability relies on leaning on a cart to get around because they are using a cane or one crutch to get around and now have carry a basket to put their items in. This is so wrong.

Absolutely unacceptable customer service. Just another cog in the wheel of what's wrong with healthcare and I'm sure they blame the pandemic when it's truly just them being lazy and not following through. They turned away my husband and daughter who had pink eye and had a prescription sent from their minute clinic at 5:51. My husband immediately stood in line and at 6:05 they told him that they couldn't not help him because it was 6pm and they were closing. They claimed to jot receive the prescription, the minute clinic NP even walked over to show proof of having she tit twice and they literally just said "sorry we're closed can't do anything about it you have to go to Sunnyvale". The laziness, lack of empathy, lack of follow through and lack of general human decency is absolutely disgusting. That they could look at a little five year old girl with pink eye and be like "ehh I don't feel like doing my job because it's 9 minutes to closing, let's pawn her off on someone else". What if my husband took the bus or an Uber to this minute clinic appointment? What if he could t afford to drive her to a second pharmacy AND pay for medication. There are people out there who this could be their situation and you deciding to be lazy for the end of your shift and not help people could lead to someone not being able to get their medication and not have access to treatment..... DONT WORK IN HEALTHCARE if your heartless.... Sincerely a nurse who has worked front line in the ICU and emergent medicine and is tired too but still understands human decency and how to fulfill my job duties while I'm on the clock.... P.s. we will be filing a formal complaint because while we are capable of accessing a second pharmacy, I worry about that elderly patient or homeless patient who doesn't have the same means and can't get their insulin or antibiotics or bp meds because your pharmacists think it's okay to not fulfill their job duties....

The CVS pharmacy located at 2700 Homestead Road in Santa Clara is the Worst CVS ever!!!Don't go there! Personnel is very unkind and unprepared. Most of the times there is only one cashier and a long line is guaranteed!

This location is always out of everything and they blame it on the pandemic but if you go to other locations they're fully stocked. The staff here are always so rude! There's never anyone on the floor to help and if you are lucky there will be one cashier open. They often pressure customers to use the self check out. But the thing is sometimes I use the self check out and it says it needs an employee then you're standing there watching the employee help other people and they take forever to come help. This location needs more staff and they need to be friendlier. It was hilarious when upper management of cvs came from corporate cause it was the first time I've seen any of the staff "do you need any help" with a smile. Never happened the past 5 years I've shopped here.

ADHD meds are controlled and can only be filled a certain amount of time before they are completely gone and you need a full appointment for a refill. therefore, when stimulants take 4-5+ days to fill, my brain LITERALLY DOESNT WORK and by law they can't transfer your prescription to another location when they're out of stock. this place pisses me off to no end and literally keeps me from getting real life work done. and the pharmacists/technicians really do not seem to give any fucks that you are being affected every single minute of your daily life by their week long wait times and stocking issues. if i could find a better pharmacy i would.

Pretty pathetic experience. We can two days in a row to collect medication and it was crazy inefficient. First day they squarely sent us back saying ‘pharmacy closing’ even though it was 45 min to close. Second day they looked at our prescription, then asked us to wait for 10 min and then told us to get back in line randomly which had since grown to 10 people - all the while saying pharmacy will close in 1 hour so customers need to rush? Why don’t you ask us to do this in the first place to make things efficient? How is a sick person supposed to do all this dance?

This review is for the pharmacy check out, not the store check out.I waited for about 30 mins in the line for pick up medications. Because this was a new meds, therefore they asked me to step to the next counter for consultation. I waited for over 30 mins at the counter for the pharmacist to come out, but she just stay at the back and doing her thing. She looked at me a few times, but still wouldn't come out. The lady whom assisted me for pick up, also went inside to remind the pharmacist for the consultation, but she still didn't come out. I felt really ill and tired. After over an hour waiting, I'm just too sick to stand anymore. So I asked can I just grab my meds and go without the consultation? They agreed, then she gave me my meds. It is really unsettling and unacceptable. All the wait was for nothing, and I still wasn't sure how to use these new meds. I guess I'll just call my doctor's office tmrw and ask for directions then.And seriously, if your pharmacist is not planning to come out for 30 mins, you should let the customer know in advance, maybe I can come back later or at least find a seat for the wait. This was terrible!!!

They won't automatically fill prescriptions sent from my doctor. They don't pick up the phone so I have to drive to the store to tell them to fill it as if that's not their job. There are one or two nice pharmacists there but as a whole, this place is dysfunctional and negligent.

Made an appointment to get my 2nd MODERNA shot, on-line. I filled out all my information and TRIED to submit, their effed up application said to give a proper 10 digit phone number! I already did! It didn't accept my number as my number. I printed out the page with my time,date and which cvs. Drove there with the print out. They said it was not in their "system." Ok fine, but then they refused to take me as a walk in. So, I get home and can no longer sign into cvs.com.Now they're on my sh** list!
