Good staff and the Safeway Pharmacy allows walk-ins to take Pfizer vaccine booster shots if we go before 5pm, although there could be wait time if going without the appointment.

Made me wait even though noone was in line. I think another staff member even suggested to someone they should help me. Asked me questions and then cut me off before I finished answering. Did not get the impression of respect for the customer.

Haven't personally had any problems, staff is friendly enough and the line moves about as fast as one expects. Helpful with medication questions.

The staff at the Safeway in Rivermark Plaza have been courteous and pleasant the past several years I've been in the area. I would recommend their service and the local team.

Supposed to be open at 9am. I was waiting for over 10mins and finally someone came to open the counter. Told them I was waiting for over 10 mins and they seems to be thinking this is normal.

The staff is not courteous, specifically "jigna" in pharmacy appears to be on the very short and condescending. I'd rather order online and save the hassle, just not worth going here to be treated like s*** and wait forever to boot. The kicker is that she appeared to be "training" someone when this interaction happened :), so I guess that was her exemplary best?

Sharing a comment is a way of room for improvement but I really need to disagree what others people experiences. I give a KUDOS 5 Stars of the whole TEAM/STAFF OF SAFEWAY PHARMACY RIVERMARK . We need to know that there are things that need to be remember. Patience : upon submitting our prescription to the pharmacist or tech, they will do there best to contact the PCP and insurance to confirm the prescribed medicine and most of the times they also have to wait. We need to express always that attitude of understanding in order to know why we wait a certain time for our medications. Tip:: Always contact the pharmacy first or provide your cellphone number with them in order to get notification when your prescription is ready for pick up. Remember the old saying " PATIENCE IS A VIRTUE"!

We came to get some seasonal shots, took an hour end to end (yes, 1 hour). You get the idea. Come to this place if you need to kill a lot of time.

My experience has been great. The staff is friendly.I have picked up prescription refills as well as got the COVID vaccinations here. There was some wait time during the vaccination, but nothing out of the ordinary. For me the mobile notification (to pick up prescription refills) worked perfectly. I got the notifications on time, and the wait times were just a couple of minutes.

Not a good place to go unless you live really close by or the place is extremely convenient for you. Which is not the case at all. The guy(usually in a red cloth/hood at the drop off counter) will give you an attitude and speak loudly for the whole world to hear the medication you are prescribed when you are just simply trying to pick up your prescription and be out. you can rarely pick up your medicine on time. You will always have to wait for at least 30 minutes even if your medication is filled and ready the day before. The experience that I had with the lady are better. I don't expect them to be nice but a common courtesy for people picking up or to fill their prescription is to not give them an attitude. Avoid at all cost if you have another choice.

Tried to make an appt to get the COVID-19 vaccine, got a time and a day, but then before confirmation, the web site hung at this step: "Thanks, please give me a moment while I scan the details of your registration." Need to fix the web site to get a vaccine appt. [added]... Even though the web site hung, and I never got a confirmation that I did get an appt, I did get an email that I did get the appt. So not 1 star, but 3. Ok.

It's a pharmacy and it functions albit barely. They always tell you to come back tomorrow to pick up medications they have on hand. When you come back the next evening, they're still not ready and you end up waiting for them to fill it.They also like to put medications back into stock fairly quickly, and then you have to go through the waiting game all over again while you're out of medications... I never had so much trouble with a pharmacy before.I would not recommend this one.

It's the best safeway of all cause it has most variety and choices. It's the only one that has real good brand ice cream

Don't open at time. Bad service. They fail to let you know when something is not on stock. Happened to me several times.
