Greg is the man who you can trust, very knowledgeable about all things 4WD, straight forward, and get in line! He's helped me out many times this time was Huge literally reconfigured my Ram 1500 from a nightmare situation. A local legend we all respect and support his business.

Greg and his mechanics are honest good guys that do great work! They did not cut any corners while doing several major jobs for me on my Ford f350. They used the most quality parts available. They completely rebuilt my front end, installed a new cv drive shaft, rear blocks, adjusted my drive line angle, new tires and welded a crack in my frame. They changed inner seals that others have left in the past. My truck has never felt better. These guys are the best!

Horrible communication, bad attitude made promises and never delivered, owner complains about being over running his business he seems tired and very unhappy never going back again, went to San Jose to get the job done very nice people and much better service!

There is no office staff, so if the owner is not available, no one will answer the phone. Leave a msg. and wait for a response.
Do be aware that the owner can be short-tempered.

Met with Greg last week and today we ordered everything for my truck. Very straight forward and to the point,I appreciate that especially for someone unfamiliar with some of the lingo. 25 years in business says a lot. UPDATE Wow the customer service afterwards is non existent. They put the wrong running boards on and didn’t even offer to replace them now I’m stuck not being able to reach my tool box without getting in the truck bed. UPDATE2 After 4 years I went back for new tires and grumpy Greg took down my info tire size etc. and NEVER called me back. I reached out after a week and he acted like he had no idea who I was. I decided to take my business else where to a place that wants my hard earned $ and has great customer service. Big O tires hooked me up and is always happy to see me for free regular rotations, dry reasonable oil changes etc etc. I actually tried several 4x4 shops that ended up not being able to help me. Who knew Big O was the place. Avoid Santa Cruz 4x4 unless your buddy buddy with Greg. It’s a shame.

Took my 2nd gen tacoma in for bilsteen suspension lift and sky jacker leaf springs and tires. Few years later and the suspension lift and tires are still spot on. I would definitely Recomend Central Coast 4wd.
