Why stay anywhere else in Santa Cruz? Best value by far with rooms having almost the same features for nearly half the price (excepting in room coffee service). Coffee served in the lobby until 11am. Swimming pool, restaurants across the street and a reasonably short walk to the Boardwalk.

Clean rooms, used to be 60-70 per night. The people who worked there can be helpful.

The Islander Motel has a fun and retro vibe. Very clean throughout! I felt very safe and comfy here!
