Kitschy roadside attraction worth stopping for. Only 10 bucks, and you get a guided tour filled with corny jokes, great photo opportunities, and a bumper sticker. Fun for the whole family! Awesome little slice of Americana.Bring some food for a snack, buy tickets online before you come, and plan on there being no cell service (obviously the mystery spot’s power disrupts modern communications).

Eric IS THE BEST TOUR GUIDE I HAVE EVER ENCOUNTERED!!The Mystery Spot is more of an optical illusion than anything spiritual or gravity related or anything sci-fi.But it takes a true talent and skill to upsell a place/an experience than what it really is!Yes! the tilt and everything is amusing and fun. But Eric's explanation, demonstrations, jokes, humbleness just made my experience 10x better.Whoever from management ever read's this review. Please give him a huge raise and my genuine thanks!I really hope to attend his tour whenever I come back again!

Still $10 per person in 2024 which is amazing. I've come here since I was a kid and it never fails to amaze me or any person I bring. Just be weary that you will feel some dizziness due to weird gravity effects.

The Mystery Spot is a fascinating tourist attraction located in the redwood forests just outside of Santa Cruz, California. It is a circular area of effect around 150 feet or 46 meters in diameter, where your perceptions of the laws of physics and gravity are questioned. The Mystery Spot has amazed and perplexed hundreds of thousands of visitors from all over the world, and many return time and time again to experience these puzzling variations of gravity, perspective, and height. The staff is friendly and welcoming. They are knowledgeable about the history of the spot and are happy to answer any questions you may have. The hiking trail around the spot is beautiful and provides a great opportunity to enjoy the natural surroundings.Overall, the Mystery Spot is a must-visit attraction for anyone visiting Santa Cruz. It’s a fun and unique experience that will leave you questioning the laws of physics and gravity. I highly recommend it!

Everyone at mystery spot were super cool, very accommodating and amazing. Made our first time and definitely not the last experience super memorable. The shop team played classic rock and were also Rockstars themselves. Finally but certainly not the last, special mention to our awesome tour Master Owen as he was hilarious, spontaneous and genuinely nice all through out. The crowd was laughing hysterically all throughout the tour. Thanks to everyone and Godspeed to all.

An experience worth having! Lines in the gift shop and for the restroom were kinda long but it was New Year's Eve so it was to be expected. The whole place has a feel of mystery and magic.. totally unlike anywhere I've been before . And even if you don't buy into the "Mystery" of the place how can you go wrong with majestic Redwoods nestled by beautiful California beaches and let's not forget the world famous Santa Cruz Beach boardwalk!! Admission is only 10$, this was my third time going and it will not be my last!

Definitely worth to go if you’re in Santa Cruz area! Very interesting tour. I’m not sure if there are self guided tours, doesn’t seem like it. But the tour is definitely worth it. Our tour guide was humorous, witty, and was really fun at showing us how funky the mystery spot truly is! Parking is plenty and they also have a cool gift store!

I have visited quite a view unique places but I must say that this place is so stinkin' unique. Well worth the $10 they charge you!!! Andromeda was the absolute best tour guide!!! She was very knowledgeable and made it so much fun!!!!
