Great full-service mover and decommissioner for corporate moves! Our process was smooth and hassle free even though our move date kept getting pushed back. I would definitely recommend them. Price was very fair and service was great. Very responsive. We used their storage for about 2 weeks and being able to do that make things worry free.

I purchased insurance for my cross-country move with Beltmann Group/North American Van Lines, and it was a complete waste of money. One of my large pieces of furniture—a dresser—was visibly broken as it came off the truck. The driver (Brian) himself admitted the damage, and we both took photos of the gaping hole in the back.
Despite this clear proof, the company never sent an adjuster to review my claim. Weeks later, I received nothing but a denial letter. When I appealed, my salesperson (Dustan) and the insurance rep (Victoria) ignored me entirely—no review of my evidence, no follow-up, no due process. I have sent multiple emails requesting an appeal, but no one has responded.
To make matters worse, Dustan strongly recommended that I purchase this insurance. Yet when it came time to stand by that promise, Beltmann walked away from their responsibility and Dustan never replied to my emails. I paid thousands of dollars for insurance coverage on a $20,000 move, only to be stonewalled and treated unfairly when I needed to use it.
In my experience, Beltmann Group (and its insurance partner, Sirva) does not honor its obligations or provide fair treatment to paying customers. I strongly caution anyone considering them: you may pay for coverage but be left with nothing when your items are damaged. I have filed a BBB complaint in hopes of receiving compensation for my dresser, but I hope this review prevents anyone from making the same mistake I did in selecting this business.

I used North American Van Lines for my move from LA, handled by Beltmann, and discovered seven pairs of shoes were missing (possibly stolen) — including my wedding shoes. The boxes arrived, but instead of shoes, they were stuffed with an extension cord and stuffed animals.
This wasn’t a simple loss — it was clear tampering, and it feels like a complete violation of trust. Moving is stressful enough without worrying that your personal belongings will be rifled through and taken.
I’ve filed a claim, and am awaiting accountability. Customers deserve better protection and integrity than what I experienced here. I expect Beltmann to make this right.

I recently worked with Beltmann Relocation Group to manage the shutdown of a 10,000-square-foot facility containing high-tech equipment. Chuck, Jesus his team (Alfonso, & Margarito) handled the entire process with exceptional professionalism. The assets were successfully relocated both internationally (to Cologne, Germany) and domestically (to San Jose, Auburn, and San Diego).
The team was efficient, organized, and clearly experienced with complex logistics. Their attention to detail and commitment to minimizing downtime made a big difference. We’ll definitely keep them in mind for future projects.

We moved from. LA to Portland and had an excellent experience with Dustan who wrote up our bid after a walkthrough. I had 4 or 5 companies bid on the job and Beltman was in the middle. But Dustan sealed the decision for me with his professionalism. I would give it 5 stairs but have to deduct 1 star due to poor communication the day before the pickup and load which was extremely stressful. But it all worked out perfectly and everything made it fully intacted and the movers themselves were excellent. Would definitely recommend.

Beltmann Moving Company is the best! We have used them three times in the past few years. Chuck is very helpful and accommodating. His crew is great, very polite and handled our furniture with care. Benito was a huge help in assembling desks and furniture for us. Shane, Chuy and David were very friendly and made the whole experience very easy. The crew also hung our pictures and certificates on the walls for us. We hope to not move for quite a while but we will definitely use Beltmann again and again.
