So I think I'm going to echo what everyone else has said below, but this is probably the nicest most welcoming CrossFit gym you'll find. I've heard the horror stories and typical fears people have entering a CrossFit gym/box. This place is completely not those things. Everyone is so kind and welcoming---no one is pushy or scary or mean. Coach Daniel goes above and beyond to educate and ensure that you're safe and that you're building technique above anything else. For someone without a background in CrossFit, this was such a gradual (but challenging in a good way) introduction to this sport. I love coming here and I'm even one of those early people that work out at the 6:30am classes...which before CrossFit Dare, I would never believe I'd be a morning person. Can't emphasis enough how great this place is. Thanks again Coach Daniel!

I've tried different methods and facilities for weight loss and health improvement, but no place or thing was anywhere as effective as this gym. Coach Daniel is really knowledgeable about all things health, and he is also very encouraging. There's really no judgement from the coach or the people you work out with; everyone is very nice and supportive. I can say with confidence that my time at this gym has been some of the best I've had in terms of self improvement, not just physically but also mentally as well.

This is the perfect place for anyone who appreciates a truly non-judgmental workout environment with a coach who is not only certified knowledgeable of all things health but who is super kind and genuinely interested in using his skills to support you through your workout journey. Welcoming to all levels, the workouts are diverse and very engaging. This is the only gym I have ever joined and consistently returned to. It has a been a little over a year for me now and I have gotten healthier and stronger both physically and mentally all thanks to the coach and his gym. And it's only the beginning! Coach Daniel takes his time to get to know his members, hear our concerns and help us formulate goals and plans to achieve them. Whether you are looking to reinvent your health regimen with personalized workouts and advice or are just looking for a place to get your blood pumping a few times a week I would 100/10 recommend! The photo is a good example of the vibe here at the gym. There are people of all ages and levels and we are just all there to learn how to enjoy becoming the healthier, stronger versions of ourselves :)

I am so glad I joined this gym. The owner/coach knows what he's doing and he does it well. Daniel has been amazing in helping me identify and track my fitness goals. From the beginning, he emphasized that the main priority is holistic wellness through smart, safe workouts. Rather than being another gym with a misleading selling point (aka working out until you feel like dying), CrossFit Dare is a place where I have felt comfortable going at my own pace, challenging myself, and learning to listen to my body. What's awesome is that Daniel also takes time to sit with us individually and review our fitness goals. This personal consultation gave me the clarity, direction, and motivation I needed to make the necessary changes for my goals. The workout schedule, sign-up system through an app, and overall flow of class is structured and easy to follow. Whatever questions, concerns, or soreness I have had, Daniel has answered them. It's only been a few months since I joined this gym but I have been sold since Week 1.

Awesome place to workout, learn about CrossFit and anything related to a healthier life style! I used to workout at 24 hour fitness until I got hurt and decided I wanted to try CrossFit and actually have a coach that knows what he is doing(because I didn't really know squat!). Everyday I looked forward to going to the box, wondering what kind of workout we would be doing for that day. Only reason I stopped is because work+family leaves me with little to no time(barely sleep at times ) I think I picked the best possible 1st box/gym/coach possible. I was there off and on for about 6 years and enjoyed my time there. Highly recommended if you are new to CrossFit or working out in general. Daniel is very knowledgeable and truly cares for each of his members. He's always asking questions about what we think about the programming, what we like/dislike, what could be improved, etc. Basically getting feedback and applying it to changes in the future trying different things out. You won't get that at many other xfit boxes. The community is nice and friendly as well.

I joined this box a month ago and this is my 3rd box after being at two others over the last 5 years. So far I'm super happy with it. Lots of innovative movements, varied, challenging programming, and lots of personal attention from the coach. The classes are small and spread out so feels very Covid safe.

I have been a member for two years. I joined because it was the cleanest gym I had seen in the area, and the brand new equipment. I have stayed because the people are the friendliest and their group classes are great. It is the only gym I have been to that has slide classes. I highly recommend CrossFit Dare!

Incredible atmosphere. I've been going here about 2 months now and cant imagine ever going back to a commercial gym. Coach Dan does a great job of assessing each member and constructing a program that's catered to your goals while giving constant feedback.

This review has been long overdue! Joining CrossFit Dare has changed the trajectory of my life for the better and I am confident that it will do the same to yours. I had this preconceived notion that a standard CrossFit gym was this harsh and unforgiving milieu, void of any emotions. Surely all these star athletes competing in the CrossFit Games were nurtured in this environment which resulted in their massive quads and traps and overall badassery. I realized very quickly it could not have been further from the truth. Prompted to make a change in my life after seeing an unrecognizable photo of myself due to weight gain, I made the decision to join in 2017. And it was the best decision I ever made, all because of Coach Daniel. It will be hard to find anyone as attentive and invested as he in your fitness journey. I learned that the hard way! From creating personalized workouts/meal plans to tailor a person's specific needs to hosting events outside of the gym to embrace community and teambuilding, I could not have asked for a better trainer, especially one that is so responsive and understanding to my fluctuating needs in and out of the gym. With his coaching and expertise, I have learned how to identify bad habits in my life that would unconsciously trigger even worse habits that prevented me from living a healthy life that I desperately craved. I grew in more ways than one, physically and mentally, from my years here. It will forever be a part of how I choose to live my life should the time come for me to leave this box. Of course, it was definitely intimidating coming in with absolutely no knowledge of the CrossFit jargon and movements, but like Coach Daniel, the people attending the classes were just as encouraging. The community was absolutely supportive as I learned and practiced the movements as a beginner who never held a barbell before. I sensed no judgment when I had to modify workouts because I was too tired or if I felt off that day. By the end of my first year, CrossFit Dare had become my second home. I felt acknowledged and validated, two things I never thought I would be able to feel in a gym, which was a huge turning point in my fitness journey.
