Service department is great. Actual dealership is bait and switch. I was tricked into signing up for key insurance even when I asked not to. Make sure you look at your paperwork before leaving as Santa Monica Land Rover is not to be trusted. I love my car but will never get a car again from these thiefs. Service is great so get your car serviced in Santa Moncia just don’t buy in Santa Monica.

I would recommend anyone requiring Range Rover service or work to visit the service location on S La Brea instead of this location. We had an evoque here a while ago and it took weeks to get back, the communication was horrendous and the experience poorly managed. They ended up covering the costs of some of the repairs as the service was so atrocious. A few months ago we had to take our Range Rover sport here to have an issue looked at after an accident. Our body shop managed the experience thankfully but they too had a hard time getting the car back in a timely manner and done correctly. After just having our car serviced at the S La Brea location I felt compelled to let people know that there are other options, a night and day experience. A little bit further if you live on the westside like myself but they will have your car in and out and communicate properly so worth the extra 15 min drive.

Service once you get the attendance to start working on your car .. is good but otherwise the service, their car rental, etc...not very good. I used to go to a different dealership /Service in Torrance and the serivce there is out of this world. These guys being located in Santa monica have a VERY low bar to reach. For that reason i give them 2 star.

Lets be honest car issues suck to deal with, but since I found Mario at the Land Rover service department, car issues are no longer an issue, Mario is always there when I need it, if its a service, brakes or another flat tire, a quick text message and he take care of it asap, I don't even live in the area, but willing to drive from Studio City because of Mario's reliability and honesty.If you need you Range Rover fix (lets be honest we all do)Check Land Rover santa Monica. and ask for Mario,Batman has Alfred, I have Mario!Thank you guys!

Best car buying experience I’ve ever had. Recently purchased a 23 Defender 110 from Max at SM LR and couldn’t speak more highly of the overall ease and professionalism of the process. I’d been shopping around multiple dealers trying to find the right 23 or order a 24, and no other dealers would give me a straight answer, instead they all tried up selling me on a spec I didn’t want. Max and his team not only gave me the honest run down on how difficult and long it takes to order a Defender but had just received almost the exact spec 23 model I was looking for. The buying process couldn’t have been easier and quicker. Literally only took maybe an hour in total. (I’ve spent all day trying to buy cars at other dealers in the past).Highly recommend SM LR for all your Land Rover needs.

I had a terrible experience. Jaguar Land Rover Santa Monica is guilty of price gouging. They charged me $1,300 for a service and I later found out that European Auto Service would have charged me $179 for the same work. They quoted me $3,800 for front and rear brakes, I ended up paying $625. They quoted me over $6,000 to replace a water pump and exhaust pipes and I ended up paying $2,400. They are robbing thier customers, I highly recommend getting your work done elsewhere unless your work is covered under warranty. I will never trust them again.Service: General repairs & maintenance

This service center for landrover Jaguar is the best hands down!John Bevardos is my service advisor ~ he knows what he’s doing, my car has been taken care of so well when it’s at the dealership and the return time is so fast~it’s back to me in a couple of days It’s always a perfect job. Be very careful here! The manager is REBECCA is by far the rudest person I have ever met in customer service. She charges for things that are not the customer's responsibility. She treats her staff poorly. LAND ROVER, step up your game. After purchasing a high end car no one should have to deal with such a headache or unfriendly person

This location used to be on top of my list but took a horrible plummet in terms of efficiency, consistency & overall customer service! The only staff member that made things pleasant there is Marie in Service sept.... I have to switch service locations

I never owned a vehicle where I had to go to the dealership to be serviced. My first experience was amazing and awesome !The people were so kind to me as being an African-American male !They treated me very upstanding, and appreciative to have and owned a vehicle where I had to go to the dealership to be serviced.
