I've been reading all the stories about Priuses getting their catalytic converters ripped off, so I decided I needed to get a shield installed to protect the one on our daughter's 2011. My daughter isn't super-savvy when it comes to finding good car-repair shops -- she usually just goes with Toyota dealerships. But I wanted to find a small shop close to where she lives in Santa Monica, so of course I hopped on Yelp and found Morgan's. I called the shop to confirm that they could install the catalytic converter shield (sure!) and check the price (very reasonable!). Greg was super helpful. After my daughter returned from a trip to NYC, she called Morgan's and set up an appointment. The appointment was yesterday and everything went great -- no muss no fuss. Morgan's took care of all the details -- ordering the shield and then installing it. Now we can all sleep a little better at night knowing that there's less chance that it will sound like a NASCAR race the next time she starts her car. Thanks to everyone at Morgan's for the great service! An easy 5 stars!

I worked with Sevag to purchase my Forester. Sevag was excellent to work with. From the start, he walked me through the different options and models. Sevag was very helpful in narrowing down the options. He was very knowledgeable about the cars and helped me find the perfect vehicle for what I needed.

I would stay away from this one. I understand I am the dissenting vote on this, but I feel pretty strongly that this is a mechanic I would not want to go to a second time. When I first brought my car in, I was told that in order to work on my car at all, there would be a surcharge because I had an aftermarket battery cut off switch installed. For the work I had done, I felt the bill was about what I would pay to bring it into the dealership. When I got my car back, I found it strange that there was a wire left behind inside the trunk where the switch was, and when I got home the switch wasn’t working anymore. I brought the car back in, and the mechanic was pretty arrogant and told me that the switch was cheap and shouldn’t have been installed at all. He tried to fix it and couldn’t. After that, I got on a message board for the make and model of my particular car, and some mechanics there told me that any mechanic who couldn’t deal with the switch like that like that, and who would charge extra for its existence on top of breaking it, is not a worthwhile mechanic. It was hard, but I asked repeatedly for a partial refund, and as of this week, apparently, one is in the mail to me. It’s still not enough for another mechanic to fix the issue. While I appreciate the partial refund, and the fact that mistakes happen, I get the sense that this mechanic has a bad attitude and this kind of thing would keep happening if I were to be a regular customer.

Ran by two honest dudes, who personally involve themselves in you car. Their interested owners who care and for me it was a world of improvement over my dealership. Can't say enough.

The most honest and kind mechanics you will find in Los Angeles. They are reasonable and realistic in their recommendations and are always considerate of your financial needs. Highly recommend their services.

I have found Yelp to be a great resource when credible people share their honest thoughts on a merchant goods or services. I believe I should do the same and that is why I'm writing my second rave review for Morgan Auto. In August 2014 , you can read my 1st review here on Yelp. In a nutshell it states I found Morgan Auto to be competent ,honest and a pleasure to do business with. At that time Morgan did extensive work on my 1997 Altima and also was able to find me a used car to buy for my son. Fast forward two plus years, the used car I bought has run like a charm and my son used it daily to attend college and work. The car only required a oil change and minor hose repair during that time Recently my son moved out of state , the car sold immediately and the new owner was very happy with the cars condition. A great result from the recommendation by Dave ( Morgan Auto) As I stated in the August review I use my Altima for a minimal commute to work and I have a tendency to forget about keeping it serviced . So after 2 plus years I bring it back to Morgan and again received a very honest and competent assessment of what was needed Needless to say I chose what I wanted to be done and Morgan performed the tasks admirably . I am writing this review because if there are other consumers out there who are as clueless and helpless about cars as I am , I hope to inform them that a reliable solution to that dilemma is Morgan Auto I am compelled to write my second glowing review for Morgan Auto. In October 2016 I use them and wrote the most accurate review I could of them for Yelp as I found their service expertise and friendliness to rate among the highest I've experienced with a vendor A few years have passed since that review and I actually brought my car into Morgan Auto for minor issues over the last couple years and each time great pricing, great service and very reliable and extremely knowledgeable about what they doing . I should've wrote reviews then but in a sense it would look a little bit like overkill so I never did Now fast forward to this week I have a 22-year-old Altima (I'm original owner) and I park it on the street with the alternate side of street parking. A few days had passed since I had used the car and when I went to move it for the parking , car won't start ,battery totally dead. Call Aaa they came ,charged the battery and after I drove it for a while to get the battery charged up I parked it on the street .To my surprise , after I shut the car off the parking and rear brake lights stayed on . I was obviously bewildered by this and spent a lot of time on YouTube trying to figure out what was going on. After watching a few videos I realized it was something I could not fix by myself and so the next morning I called Morgan Auto. Dave at Morgan Auto as always was pleasant and attentive and gave me his expert opinion on the matter which was good news to me as he knew what the problem was and asked me should he go ahead and order the part since the car being 22 years old it might be a bit of a challenge to find it. I said definitely do that and I arranged the time for the car to get there and felt good that the problem was going to be solved. After I dropped off the car Dave gave me a call and told me that what had happened was that there was a pin as part of the break pedal that engages when you release your foot off the pedal and that causes the rear brake lights to go off.The cars pin due to age had corroded and disintegrated (actually found little black pieces of it below brake pedal) Dave said he would actually now not need to order a new part but just replace the pin(about $10)and with hour minimum labor charge that would be total fee. I accepted and next day I picked the car up and headed home with problem solved. So my message here to the Yelp community is to highlight a great vendor .A Company who will give their expertise, attention ,fair pricing and great customer service to even a small client like myself . I believe this is the profile of a vendor we a

Excellent and honest service. I had a used car from Carnax that I brought here to be checked out and good thing I did; they found it had been in an accident that was not mentioned by Carnax because it was probably an out of pocket repair ( why title was clean). I returned the car and then brought in a different car and they checked it out and besides needing fluids was fine. I also had a nail in my tire and they squeezed me in to fix it. They're great!

David was exceptional and incredibly patient and knowledgeable. He was honest and knew what he was talking about, unlike the other places I went to. He informed me of what I needed, when other mechanics did not even mention the problem. I highly recommend Morgan Auto Service. They are trustworthy and highly experienced and fair. A gem for sure! Thank you again for your services.

Dave is such a trustworthy man. I can't believe my husband and I took our 2003 lexus car to other mechanics who were awful to our car!
