Went to this shop for my brakes and he got them done quickly and with a great price. I really appreciate it that he didn’t try an upsell me on things I didn’t need. Definitely a trustworthy spot!

Al's Village Repair Shop is an outstanding place to have your car serviced. Greg and John are experts, and you can count on them to do what your car needs. I got very tired of the car dealership where you had to select from their menu of "Good, Better, or Best" service options. Al's is a tremendous Eastside community treasure.

We've taken our vehicles here for a few years now and we've never been disappointed. Greg is super responsive, has very reasonable pricing, and always tells you like it is. He's not trying to add unnecessary repairs or services, but he'll let you know if he thinks something is close and is going to need service soon. And if there's something that he thinks should be better off doing somewhere else, he'll let you know. But there isn't much we've had to do on our cars that he hasn't been able to do. Definitely see us continuing to take our cars here for a long time.

Al's village repair shop went above and beyond for me . Especially Greg the owner , I was in a pinch and had a very concerning noise coming from my car , after showing up in a crisis on a very busy day for them , Greg the owner suited up and assured me he would help me to the best of their capabilities, well after a short hour , Greg got me back on the road and in time for my sons baseball game it's places like this that give you hope in the world , in such a corporate world these days , it's places like Al's village repair shop that go above and beyond for their local customers , I will for sure be back , and recommend them whenever and wherever I can

I have a Grand Marquis w/ 170,000 miles which had one leaking rear axel seal. I had Greg replace two seals even though the other seal wasn't leaking. I did a 6000 mile trip to Detroit and noticed that the emergency brake wasn't holding the vehicle on a 2% grade. After 170 K miles maybe it is time to replace the E-brake shoes. I took the vehicle to Calgary Automotive and he discovered one of the rear seals was leaking upon dismantling the two brake systems. Returned to Al's Village Repair to let him know about the seal failure and he became very irate and started yelling at me. If Greg was unable or unwilling to credit me, he could have at least offered an apology to the fact. Greg took offense of my attitude for canceling a previous appointment for my granddaughter's Prius to change out two headlight bulbs. I told Greg that he must be hard up for money and I left his shop before the confrontation with Greg escalated into something serious. I thought he was going to hit me with his fist. I will never return to that shop for repairs of any sort while Greg is on the premise.

Ok we can all agree car trouble is one of the worst things ever!!! Can really throw a wrench in ones day ( or even week). Our Chevy Malibu starting acting super strange & giving us big issues ( the car was becoming not drive-able ) if we didn't figure it out ASAP! We were referred by our transmission mechanic to Al's Village Repair shop for help. Greg was awesome from the get ( my fiancé took the car in ). He put in some time and effort the same day we brought it in and promised complete repair the following day. He definitely came through on that 24 hour turn around time! Only one day of work missed and car is running smooth! Was polite and easy going & very helpful from beginning to end. When having car trouble your stress levels are definitely higher than normal. So it helps to have someone just listen & be understanding and make miracles happen in 24 hours. Obviously we all know sometimes things can't always be as smooth as the above but just the concern and effort goes a long way! Thanks again Greg!
