We booked a rate directly with Hertz and this location said the price in the system showed as a much higher rate and charged us the higher rate even though we showed them the email with the rate we had locked in. Even the manager did not help us. They stated they advertise a lower rate to get us in the door. Thank goodness we were doing a one way and returned to a different location that knew what they were doing and adjusted the price correctly. This location is terrible. They were not willing to help and not friendly about it either. It’s worth it to pay more to avoid this location.

I returned a rental car and before leaving I ask the representative whom gave the car assessment was everything in good shape and if was I clear to go. He gave the thumbs up and said everything checked out fine. I did not request a receipt at the moment and ask if it could be emailed or texted as I was in a hurry to my next appointment.Long after I left I checked my receipt to my surprise there was a $150.00 cleaning fee for the smell of smoke.According to the "manager" Racheal apparently returning a car leaving the windows down is a clear indication that you have been smoking in the car and you will be charged a cleaning fee.I repeat:::YOU CAN'T RETURN A CAR WITH THE WINDOWS DOWN or you WILL BE CHARGED A CLEANING FEE.??? Make this make sense ???Racheal"the manager" have a very nasty demeanor she instigates arguments which is feeble and unprofessional. Her cankerous stank behavior must be a form of entertainment for this overrated 1⭐ circus. No matter if 5 or 6 employees are behind the counter get ready for an extremely long wait everytime with only 1 person helping a crowd of customers while the other employees sit around loudly complaining about their door dash order and other personal problems.Do not expect the car you made a reservation for because they only carry midsize + and will try to force you into a electric vehicle everytime.Anyhow. Lesson is.....Stick around to completely close out all transactions to avoid opportunisticemployees and businesses.

Truly terrible experience. Gave away our car when flight was late and still charged us. Customer service strategy was "sucks to be you".

The rudest people I have ever had the disadvantage of dealing with. They charged me double after I used a car for one day, derailed it and returned it in under 24 hours. What kind of company does that? The lady that works in there is the absolute worst. It sucks the Ukiah office closed down because at least there, they had respect for their costumers. If I could give 0 stars I would.

Worst customer service, slow to get the car, rude when asking about credit card charges I did not authorize...car wasn't very clean either. Avis Budget on Santa Rosa Ave is way better to deal with.

Rented it through Kayak, didn't realize that they weren't located right at the airport, had to get an uber. I was worried about this place after reading soo many bad reviews, but I had no issues, I used my own insurance rented a car for 5 days. When they took pictures I asked them to send it to my email as well. When I had to return the car it was Saturday with no parking spots and no one on site, I was worried about leaving the car until Monday, I took pics of everything including full tank of gas and mileage. I received a receipt that everything has closed out on Monday, no extra charges, no issues.

Too bad there is no ZERO rating. This place sucks. I had a reservation for a car and all the confirmation papers with me however when I arrived at the reservation time Hertz did not have a car for me and they did not care! They also lied telling me there was a car shortage and they did Not have any cars at their other Santa Rosa locations. Not true, because when I called their corporate office the only assistance they would offer was a car at the airport with a rental of MORE THAN TWICE the rate confirmed in my reservation. Honestly corporate office was even ruder and less concerned about their obvious error than the local office was. Thank goodness for Enterprise on Corby Avenue who came and rescued me after Hertz left me stranded on the sidewalk and had me in a car immediately. Shame on you Hertz!

Don’t book here. Showed up with reservation, no cars. Counter guy just shrugged. I wasted $40 on Uber and missed a meeting. Apparently this is a regular occurrence at this location and the staff could care less. Hard to believe Hertz corporate allows this nonsense.Had I looked at the horrible reviews earlier, I never would have rented at this location. The 6 star reviews are likely shills. You’ve been warned!

Good new cars. good prices but too high Insurance. & will handover car with 90% gas & will ask to fill it up to 100%. Car had deceiving fuel Guage. had to put 3 extra Gallons.

DO NOT RENT FROM HERE!!...I made a reservation for a luxury car, called a couple of days in advance to confirm the car. But when i got to the location today and they didn't have the car. Racheal was very short and snappy with me while she told me they don't have my car and will not have my car today! i will never rent or attempt to rent a car from Hertz

Gave my car rental away. Showed up just pass an hour after reservation time. The manager associate, James said he gave rental way because we didn't call. This policy was no where online or printed in store. When I asked why he didn't call or text us to let us know vehicle would be given away, he said that's not his job. Ok. I will take my loyalty points elsewhere hertz.

I’ve had a good experience here at this location twice. James has been able to assist me 2x in the last few months with last minute needs (engine light and other dashboard indicators came on during my rental) while my car is being repaired. He always seems to be the only employee there which doesn’t seem fair to him but my experience was a good one both times. I was put in a perfectly working, clean, and enjoyable car.
