Ridiculously understaffed always, cashiers are rude, probably because they are ridiculously understaffed always. This seems to be a common theme evidenced by other reviews, and clearly nothing has been done to mitigate. Today's young cashier sneered at me as she was bagging my groceries, literally (not kidding) throwing the bag to the end of the counter area for me to retrieve. Why is this Whole Foods permitted to provide such hostile customer service? Perhaps it's the tone set by management? I can find a much better experience at Oliver's for sure!

I am a disabled senior citizen, and I've been shopping at this store for many years. It's always been a good experience. Until today. I take Paratransit services and I have with me a little pull cart for my groceries and my other belongings, such as my shopping bags, because I have a physical disability which makes it difficult for me to carry things. Whenever I come to the store I always put my little cart and my shopping bags in a Whole Foods shopping cart and do my grocery shopping. No one has ever said anything to me about this.. today I went over to the fish counter to ask for some bags of crushed ice in order to keep my groceries cold in my Whole Foods insulated bag. The store manager, whose name apparently is Wes, took one look at me and all of my belongings in the shopping cart and , in a very rude and hostile and condescending tone of voice, immediately told me that I could not do my shopping with all of those things in my shopping cart and that i must take them to customer service and leave them there. I'm in a lot of pain and it took a lot of energy for me to load those things into my shopping cart. He was very hostile. Even though I'm fairly well-dressed, I guess he just assumed I was some sort of low life with all of my belongings in a shopping cart, cruising the aisles so that I could steal things? I don't know. When I told him that he was the first person in all these years that has ever told me that, he just sneered at me and said," well, this is the first time I've met you. " I took all of my things over to customer service, and left them there, except for my insulated bag. So I walked back over to the fish counter and he took one look at my wide open insulated bag with nothing in it, smirked at me, pointed his finger in the direction customer service and told me I needed to take it back and leave it there. I was very upset, and asked him what his name was. I was speaking loudly because I'm wearing a mask . Also, i was in pain. Simple grocery shopping is difficult for me. He cut me off, and told me that if I was going to raise my voice he was going to make me take my bag and get my other things from customer service and get out of the store! I am shaking. It was humiliating, upsetting, and insulting. I will never shop in this store ever again. I will start going to yulupa and hopefully be treated better. Oh, also, Wes?... had I not desperately needed the food items I'd gone there for, I would have let you continue to publicly humiliate me and throw me out of your store. The thing is, I am VERY ill and disabled, skeletal underneath my winter layers, and would have gone hungry for several days without the few things I can safely ingest . And , I had paid for my Paratransit rides which would have left me with no more money for transportation for over a week. KINDNESS AND EMPATHY MATTER.

I really love the selection at Whole Foods, but shopping here is a chore. It seems like there are never any employees around when you need them. There are 1 million of them stocking the shelves, but you would be hard-pressed to find someone at the customer service counter, or cashiering. There was one cashier open today. She barely said hello to me and did not bag any of my groceries at all. She just kept smashing them down to the end where I had to bag them all myself. She then helped the next two customers after me while I was still bagging my own groceries. I expect a little bit of help, considering how much money it costs to shop here. I don't work here so I shouldn't have to bag all my own groceries. Do better Whole Foods Coddingtown!! Your employees act like they hate working here.

I was ready to buy a sandwich today, until I saw a sandwich maker wiping hands on their apron. More training needed.

I love Whole Foods. But I've gone multiple times over the course of the last few weeks and the coffee and smoothie bar consistently has the closed sign. Understandable but hoping it's open soon.

Dropped off an Amazon return, staff was very courteous and professional. Store looked very clean and well lit. Would shop there, but the one in Sebastopol is as nice and closer to my home.

I know that there's been criticism about Whole Foods and some of the changes that have occurred in terms of the produce Etc but this review is more of a personal experience I had well returning some Amazon merchandise. I wandered through the store, with items always so appealingly displayed. I picked up a few things and headed to the checkout. Much to my dismay, I realized that I had forgotten my wallet. The checker was so helpful and friendly and suggested other forms of payment such as Apple or Google pay. And I did try to install those apps but I did not have my credit card number. So Philip told me he would hold my purchases at customer service and I could come back at my convenience to pay for them. He went the extra mile and took his time helping me. I was so impressed and appreciative of his assistance. A huge thank you too Whole Foods for employing such wonderful people!!
