I’m so glad I found this place. They really know how to cut hair according to your face shape and the requested style. Zach cut my hair and he really took his time and was very detailed. He gave recommendations what will look nice too. I was way satisfied with the end result. I will stick to this place because it’s hard to find a hair cut place with speciality in Asian men’s hairstyle.
The price is worth it because of the shampoo, blow dry and styling that’s included. They also use premium hair products.

I just got my hair dyed for the first time ever with Jay yesterday and he did such an amazing job! I was really nervous but he was super patient, walked me through the process and showed me a few things we could do. It was a long process, 5 hours because my hair apparently likes to hold onto it's natural color. 😂 Had to bleach twice and then put this beautiful shade of silver with a hint of purple. His attention to detail is fantastic and I'm in love with my hair!!
I've also been getting my hair digitally permed at Viange salons for several years and it's always been an amazing experience (Kaori and Kylie do an amazing job). I'm such a lazy hair styling person so getting these perms gives me some fun texture that I don't need to worry about. Then I can just wash, air dry my hair and off I go!
Thank you Viange salon for being worth every penny!

Sara is AWESOME! I got my hair cut by her two months ago, going from chest-length to shoulder-length. I asked for her opinion, and she honestly told me my hair was in great shape and suited me well. I was surprised to hear a hairstylist suggest I didn’t need a cut, but I insisted because I wanted a change.
At first, I had mixed feelings about the new style—I thought maybe Sara was right, and I shouldn’t have pushed for something different. HOWEVER, all my friends kept complimenting me, saying the layers looked fantastic. I started loving the new style as I realized how easy it was to handle and style. Plus, Sara’s layering technique gave me flexibility: if I wanted a shorter look, I’d bring the shorter layers forward and leave the longer layers in the back. For a longer style, I’d pull the lengthier sections to the front.
Over time, I’ve grown even more appreciative of Sara’s skill. Unlike past styles that quickly lost their shape, this one has kept its structure beautifully, even as my hair grows out. I’m so impressed with how long-lasting and versatile it is. Huge shoutout to Sara!

[Google DELETED my reviews for no reason. Posting it again] My experience with Jay was a nightmare!!!! Jay destroyed my hair completely. Instead of adding layers, he made my hair much much thinner, claiming it’s a way adding layers. He thinned out 2/3 of my hair. I used to have very thick hair, but because it was thinned out too much, now I barely have any left. My hair was thinned quite close to the roots, and even after 1.5 years, the hair volume is still a lot less. I also feel my hair is completely damaged because it hasn't gotten any thicker in the past year. My hair is very very long, so it will probably take forever or never to get back to the thickness it used to be. I felt very depressed because my hair went from being very thick to very thin. Getting a haircut with Jay was a disastrous moment in my life. I suggest avoiding Jay and this place at all costs!!!

The hair cut quality is getting worse and worse. I admitted that i choose $75 hair stylist (the cheapest), but cmon... $75 is not cheap either. I feel like i have to pay $75 for somebody who doesn't really know how to cut and my hair is a practice tool to gain experience. I ask layer because my hair is thick instead he just chop it shorter and shorter so i don't even dare to ask him to fix it. It looks like an egg oh well!! after 7 yrs going to this place, it's time to say goodbye!! the last 4-5 times has been so horrible haircut. I gave chances because it used to be good.

I'm very picky when it comes to coloring my hair. I've dyed it twice in Asia and I haven't found a decent colorist in the Bay until I met Jay today. I scheduled a free 30min consultation apt like a month prior and they had availabilities with the master stylist Jay. And I was able to scheduled a toning appointment on the same day which was a huge plus bc I drove from Oakland East Bay to San Jose like 1hr away. Worth the drive honestly.
The salon was flexible when I was a few minutes late due to stuck in traffic. I called and texted their customer team number and they responded quickly to confirm it’s ok. The consultation appointment was quick and efficient. I've provided my current hair color n the hair color I wanted to tone back to the customer service team, and Jay saw those pix. I explained that I don't want to bleach bc I did it in Asia for several hours, my hair will more damage if I do it again here. So Jay suggesting a toner blend on the bottom half of my hair that will blend in w my roots. Jay trimmed off a few strands of my hair during the consultation to test bleeding the toner colors on my hair. Which I thought was very detailed and precise compared to other salons I've been to when it comes to coloring.
Jay and I had great conversations. I also did my HC there and trimmed off like 4 inches. Toning, shampoo/conditioner, HC process took around 2hrs. Toner stayed on for 10-15min at most. Shampoo n conditioner was the best part. A nice and deep head massage with excellent quality Japanese hair products, it felt very luxurious and calming. I fell asleep for prob 10min during the hair wash. I saw there's headspa service as well, i can try next time.
Excellent services and easy process to get an appointment with a stylist. Highly recommend Viange for your hair care needs. Next door is Viange nails and eyelash extensions too, you can totally get a full day of self care at this Saratoga location.

Beautiful salon. Jay is amazing and very professional. He gave an excellent haircut and styles hair beautifully. I will definitely go back to him, I can see why he books up so fast.
