This was a special event, not held at a restaurant, to support the volunteer group For The Troops. It was organized well, the food was amazing and it was heartwarming to assist packing care packages for our military on Veteran's Day.

An amazing organization of volunteers, meaning no staffed salaries, that delivers outstanding care packages to men and women of the US military! I cannot recommend them more highly to you!

The West-sides all volunteer run military support! My son is currently doing an Eagle Scout project to benefit this charity and support their efforts of care packages to military personnel over seas! As a vet, and wife of a vet, I can appreciate this so much!! They take all sorts of different donations, give them a call to find out how you can help too!

Nice to see some major patriotism and support for our troops here. I know our servicemen and women love getting love from home & this group makes sure our troops get plenty of love. Easy to stop by 99 cent store to grab items that For the Troops gets out. Their website has a great list of wanted items to make it easy to add to packages. Love this group!!

Y'all sent a package to an anonymous box overseas. That package happened to end up in the hands of my daughter within just a few days of her arrival in a new country! She sent me a picture and a message of gratitude and such joy!! She was blessed to tears. From this Marine MoM... I can never repay the blessing that you bestow on our military and specifically on my girl. THANK YOU & GOD BLESS YOU ALL!!!

This is the most amazing organization. I found out about it going on my sons field trip way back in 2008. We have been coming back to volunteer ever since. We write letters, prep, fill the line and pack boxes. When we arrive everyone makes us feel welcomed and when we leave we feel proud of what we've accomplished. People are always friendly and willing to help! It's a great way to spend our Saturday's.

For the Troops is, hands down, one of the most dedicated and hard working charities in Simi Valley. The morale boost their packages give to our deployed troops is immeasurable. Their volunteers work tirelessly to assist our soldiers in getting them exactly the items that are needed the most.
