Years ago, I was a regular customer. I forgot the name of the stylist I used to see, I really liked her. I came last Tuesday and today. The stylist I met with, Toni, pushed back my appointment time twice. The first time wasn't a big deal. Especially since I was home, but the second time was very irritating. I was already taking an Uber to the shop. I don't drive. I live near Madera and Los Angeles Ave. I had to spend an hour there just waiting. There's nothing to do in that shopping center. But Toni was very nice and took care of my hair and did a great job. Unfortunately, at the end of the day, I noticed the shirt I wore had a huge bleach stain in the back. I had thought she got water on me. I will never again meet with Toni. I'm also going to really think about whether or not I'll even go back. I love my hair, but I'm unhappy with her unprofessionalism. And the nasty bleach stain on my new shirt. My previous hair stylist was always on time and very professional. She never left ugly bleach stains on my clothes. I'm very disappointed in Toni's handiwork on my shirt, and with her time management. I was going to leave a good review, but then I saw the bleach stain on my new shirt.

Aly was very sweet and tamed my curls really well. I told her a basic request. We went over a photo together. She explained processes while still having a great friendly atmosphere. Will return!

I hardly ever give a place a 5 star unless it's superb. And this salon is just that. Sam gave me a blowout and she was so welcoming, kind and sweet. Not only was she all the above, but she knew how I parted without me saying anything and took into full consideration my concerns and needs. It is rare to find a salon that goes above and beyond with kindness. This place is a gem and I'm so lucky I was able to book with Sam. Her magic is priceless.

I really wanted to make this salon my forever salon, as I live only a block away. Unfortunately, Ceanna has terrible customer service. I scheduled an appt with her two months in advance and when the day came, she said she assumed it was at a different time because she wrote the time down incorrectly in her calendar. She didn't try to work with me to compromise on a date to reschedule. Very terrible experience. Won't be coming back.

I was looking for a stylist in Simi and my friend recommended Play Hair Lounge. She told me all the stylist there were good so I looked at their website and thought Toni would do the best job with the styling I like. When I arrived the staff was very friendly and offered great hospitality. Toni was sweet, gave a great scalp massage as she shampooed my hair, listened to what I wanted to achieve and delivered. I'm very happy with the cut and blow dry. I would recommend Toni if you want a great hairdresser.

Been going to Play for a decade now and can't say enough good things. All the stylists are super talented. I go to Allison, she has pulled off many new looks for me throughout the years & I always leave her chair feeling confident & fresh. Can't recommend her enough !
