Can't recommend bringing a sensitive dog for a nail trim here. Went to the side walk to do it, and was quick but my dog went wild over it. Also didn't trim them very well. I was mostly happy to leave. I'll have to have them finished properly somewhere else.

Our vet, along with two vet techs assisting, struggle to trim my dog’s nails. She summons the strength of a titan to resist. They usually abandon their efforts to trim, and do just a cursory job.
I don’t know HOW, but at My Pal, Poppy goes willingly with the groomer, and is beautifully “manicured” within minutes. To me, it’s miraculous!

I'm new to Sonoma and needed to have my dogs groomed- a sweet chow and a terrier mix. I waited a couple of weeks for the appointment and dropped them off. I informed the owner that I was bringing in a chow. 30 minutes later I got a call to come and pick them up. The owner told me that she didn't feel safe with my chow (he's been groomed many times and I was told that he was very sweet) and that she was getting too old to take on dogs she didn't trust. I told her that she could always muzzle them but she stated that she wouldn't do that. Why waste my time? I ended up missing a hair appointment that I also had waited weeks for. I ended up taking my dogs to Fit n Furry for baths and I was told that my dogs were perfectly mannered. My Pet Pals is not the place to take dogs that have never been there before. You can't trust that she will actually groom your dogs. Better not to waste your time. There are plenty of places that are more reliable.

My dogs, Angus and Arya, love this place. They are happy when they arrive and trot themselves back to the waiting area for their baths. They always come home smelling great and happy. Deb obviously loves dogs and they are her passion, and the dogs can tell.

Excellent service, I have 2 dogs and one is a complete drama Queen about getting her nails trimmed, but both were in and out of here in 5 minutes with perfect pedicures. Yay!
