This was a quaint little place, with lots of small souvenirs like postcards and other knickknacks. It also had lots of wall hangings, and some other random stuff like flashlights and tree growing kits.

An excellent array of gifts that celebrate the region, and compliment one another in gift bag fashion. There is a quiet emphasis of learning throughout each item, and that shows the tremendous thoughtfulness put forth by the proprietor.

Great first time experience nice friendly people and beautiful items. Will definitely make this a place we stop by when you're in the area.

What an awesome store , the clerk was so nice and very friendly, we picked up a few items and had fun chatting with her. Then , this is why it is 3 . The owner needs to be more engaging and friendly . I didn't want to say anything , but read ahead of my post, found the same experience. I felt as if he didn't like us and wanted us to leave! The store is so cool, but the owner isn't really nice.

Great selection of products that encompass the mountains.

Like to collect refrigerator magnets or trinkets which have the name of the town you visited on them? Want to buy them in person instead of on eBay or Amazon? (That's the only honest way, right?). Mountain Home has got you covered. It was nice to see that they stay open late as a lot of the other tourist bug lights on the main strip in downtown Sonora close too early.

This was such a cute darned shop and I'd be writing a five star review if the storekeeper wasn't so darned unfriendly during our visit. Not good vibes for the retail world. Located in downtown Sonora, this shop offers a variety of woodland-Esque souvenir and gifts for those traveling through Yosemite. Think Pretty postcards, blankets, shirts, books, etc. Its location is also very accessible to several other shops and restaurants along the strip. The shop itself is decorated very well and gives off clamping vibes that make you want to curl up in a corner. We made a few purchases but probably would have lingered longer had we felt more welcome. Note that we were the only ones in the store at the time.
