Came in for a simple check up but the doctor immediately referred me to do blood work, but still charged me for a full visit. After I did the blood work, and came back he just read the results to me and charged me again, meanwhile the problem that i came for still didn't get resolved.
And whomever is working at the front desk should be taken to anger management sessions, I get that you work in healthcare, but you are in Sonora and you get 2.5 patients a day, so there is no reason to be this frustrated with a patient...
Overall, terrible service with rude and unprofessional staff :)

I will recommending him at all. My husband was seeing him for some treatments. My husband went to see another doctor to get an alternative medication. Then this doctor treated my husband in a email. My husband have the rights to see any other doctors without getting controlled. I was one of his patients but not any more. I fastened for a blood test and they never faxed the order to Quest so I had to leave Quest without having my lab test. Very unprofessional from this offices. They never gave me any explanation or apology from my this offices.

Sonora Primary Care and doc Hooper have been my go to for years. They are always efficient and effective and treat the whole person rather than just the injury. The front staff is lovely and the office has gone above and beyond to be accommodating. Would highly recommend.

I have been seeing Dr. Hooper for 10 years. In my opinion he is the most knowledable primary care physcian I have know. He spends as much time as required with a patient to address the patients health care needs. Dr. Hooper is masterful at explaing the patients condition to them and describing appropriate treatment. He seems to truly care about his paients. I highly recommend Dt. Hooper as a primary care physcian.

Both myself and my husband see Dr. Hooper and have been for the last few years and we have never had an issue! He listens to our concerns everytime. If I have questions on a weekend, which is usually when any problem pops up, I can reach out to him no problems! His staff is amazing and the overall experience is that you've chosen a great doctor that genuinely cares about your wellbeing. I will always recommend Dr. Hooper to anyone in need of good, trustworthy doctor.

The first time I met Dr Hooper he was working in Prompt Care on Forest Rd. My son was very young and had an ongoing rash. We had been to prompt care and his pediatrician for this rash already. At my wits end I went back to Promt Care, Dr pulls the lighted magnifying thing off the wall looks at the rash and starts counting, totally weirded out I ask what he is doing? He reply's wait a second. He finished counting to six, looks at me and says your son has scabies. He said he likes to find six live ones for a definitive diagnosis. I was hooked, I asked if he had a practice in town to which he said no but was working on it. As soon as I heard he opened one I became a patient with no regrets to this day! Tho continue, I was recently hospitalized over a weekend, the hospitality was in contact with Dr Hooper on his weekend to discuss my case with. The day I was discharged I called the office and They got me in the next day to follow up! These two stories alone should be enough to prove Dr Hoopers loyalty to his patients. I have had many others stories in between and could go on and on, but I'll just say that I have no intentions of ever leaving him.

Dr. Hooper has been my doctor for over 5 years, at first it was for addiction and then to managed my health as well as pain management. I love that the entire staff truly cares about your well being , but also straight forward. For those looking for a review on addiction treatment they are very thorough about whats expected. You have to attend NA/AA (depending on your situation) and stay on a strict regiment (based on what you and your doctor decide and what works best for your treatment). I have found that being honest with your doctor and yourself builds a great relationship between you both. This Builds Trust!! Team Hooper!!!
