To all you who are not getting service from Pencomp, there is a solution. For over seven years my lawyer, accountant, and I contacted Pencomp for current data on my account and the cancellation of our account and never heard from them. I kept a record of all those calls and faxes. I filed a complaint with the American Society of Pension Professionals and Actuaries (ASPPS) and after their investigation they passed a judgment stating that Pencomp materially violated Precepts 1, 2, and 14 of ASPPS's Code of Professional Conduct for Actuaries. Based on this judgement I asked for and received a refund of charges that never should have been expended when I asked for the defined benefit plan to be terminated. This did not include additional costs for distribution fees, attorney fees, and accountants fees. The ASPPS can be contacted at 4401 N. Fairfax Drive, Suite 600, Arlington, VA 22203. Fax: 703.516.9308. For more information, go to

This business still uses 1980s computers and software. Receptionist is rude and unprofessional. Do not use this company, you will regret it.

is the solution you're all looking for. Earl Sanders at Pension Metrix is thorough, honest, and a top-notch professional. His office delivers the highest level of integrity. Their paper trail is traceable, they answer their phones, and ALWAYS answer your questions.

Horrible experience with these guys! You can leave message after message with a receptionist and not get a call back. They just keep mailing invoices via US mail, but won't answer questions what they are for. They all share one AOL email???? Use Pencomp if you want the worst service ever!

Unprofessional. Lots of false statements intended to scare you into hiring them. Not trustworthy.

Customer service has been odd so far. I had hoped it would have been much better. I just started working with them, so, I hope to update with a better review.
