I had an online order to return and wanted to buy some leggings. I don't live nearby, it's a 30-minute drive. I will stick with Sports Basement! The store was clean and tidy. That's the best I can say about this in-store experience. I was waiting to be helped at the register and the gentleman at the register gruffly told me to go the a specific register. No problem. Lack of customer service skills was noticeable- no greeting, no excuse me when he left the register or helped a gentleman who brought up a cooler after me. Very interesting way to treat and ring up customers. No, thank you Dick's! I can go to Sports Basement and not get growled at!!!

Not sure if they had a skeleton staff or if it's standard. But Don't understand why it takes 30 minutes to pull some shoes. Had to wait 30 minutes just to try in the shoes then another 20 if I decided to purchase. No thanks.

I'm giving this store a 5 star review. The staff there are super nice and I have to give a big shout out to Cole. I believe he's the manager. If so, he does such an amazing job running the store with his positive attitude and heart warming welcoming inside the store. He's like the Mr. Rogers for dicks sporting good. This man will not let you down.He helped me replace my yeti water bottle. Long story short, the mouth piece was impossible to take off, so I got an exchange. He made sure I was satisfied with my yeti before I left. Sunnyvale store if you're reading this. Thank you so much!

We came to Dicks to check out the soccer shoes selection for myself. Dicks is actually a pretty impressive sports store. We don't really have any sports stores in Hawaii so to see a big sports store like this was great. They have their store arranged neatly by types of sports. The shoes were in the back so I went to the back to check it out. I was walking around several times but I didn't see any women's soccer shoes. There were kid ones and men one but no women ones. No one seemed to be in the area to help so after a while we just left. Overall nice store and setup but need to work a little harder on customer service

Zero stars for Dick's. This store SUCKS!!! Will never shop here again. They would not make an exchange even though my shirt had the tags. It was a gift so no receipt. DONE WITH DICK'S

My wife and I went in to exchange some pants she purchased a couple weeks ago for the correct size. From the beginning, the staff was short and spoke to her with an unkind tone. When it was time to make the exchange, the manager made it seem like an exchange and a separate purchase were not possible as two separate transactions. When she insisted on the separate transactions, the manager displayed a condescending tone and called her "impatient." He claimed she would get a $5 cash back, something she did not ask for, and before the return transaction could be completed, he said it could not be done because she had a digital card and not a plastic one. He sent her to a separate register that could handle a digital transaction. On the way, another cashier with false lashes made my wife respond to her three times that no, she did not have a plastic card and just the digital one. It was as if the cashier was hoping to goad my wife into getting more upset than she already was. At the new register, Arlen helped us with the exchange and new purchase. He was professional and courteous, a grateful difference from the other two and the only reason for the second star. It is ok for a customer to ask for an exchange on items that don't fit. It is ok that they want to do it on the digital card they made the original purchase with. It is ok that they want the exchange and the new purchase to be separate transactions. The manager and lady with false lashes criminalized my wife, and that is not ok. I would not recommend this business due to its lack of service and professionalism.

There are more selections of goods than Big 5 and the pricing is reasonable and competitive. However, they've got the coldest and the most impolite cashiers in sporting goods industry. Two female cashiers still chitty-chatted when we approached the counter, no greetings and basic manner, not even a smile, just the "I can't be bothered" attitude. One of them still wear mask. Really? This generation is so undiscerning and doomed. ?Found out spending $300 to only get $10 reward. Kinda Cheap.A piece of advice for the security guy at the entrance: Either greet everyone or hold your peace.IMO, the overall store culture is a bit problematic.

I was online trying to buy some shoes. A pop up came up which was a chat representative named Hector I told him the shoes I wanted to purchase I gave him the name, color and size of the shoes. Then I gave him my full name, email, phone number and he sent me a link but them after 30 minutes he turns art and tells they are not available and then he offered me a gift card I can redeem at the store, then I went to a store and then they turn around and tell me number he provided was for an on line discount only. So I tried ordering some other shoes on line and the code they gave me didn't work. So I spoke to another rep and explained everything to her and she said she couldn't do anything, she said she would have to send me to a team specialist and I spoke to them. She asked for my email and sent me an email and told me to explain what happened. I sent her a screenshot of the total conversation and she ended up telling me there is nothing they can do. They have the worst customer service ever. Even the team specialist was useless. All they did was waste my time.

I like this store because they have a lot of variety, today I wanted a shirt but the only one was on a mannequin. One of the associates saw that I wanted the shirt so he got a ladder and got for me. It was really cool. He then helped me with a couple other things. He made me a true loyal customer.
