Usps says it can't deliver a package. It's vitamins small package, parcel box is empty. The mail person hasn't even been here yet. Ridiculous

After the entire staff quit, boo, Tina remained to do her job. She managed to be efficient, helpful and cheerful to boot. I can't say enough good about her work ethic. I have had many issues with this post office and have written to the powers that be on more than one occasion. Though never concerning her. I'd like to think I am a fair individual and therefore would like to sing my praises for Miss Tina of the Sutter Creek post office, we need more like her, everywhere.

The clerk there Tina spends so much time talking with customers about person issues lines start forming out the door. If you complain or ask how long it will be she gets upset and snips, "I am helping a customer". She needs to focus on the job at hand and move people out the door quickly. I now dread going in there for anything and try to us FedEX or UPS when possible. I also moved my box to Jackson since they are much more professional there.

Years of great service at this post office and then I met the postmaster, Elisha Brewer, who seems to be a new manager on a power trip who thinks she can be rude and unprofessional to customers and threaten to withhold their mail if they don't appreciate her awful customer service and attitude. Send her back from wherever she came from.Update 11/23/21: They have admitted to losing my package yet refuse to pay for it since it was sent First Class by the seller. When asked about this, I was told that the employees would be disciplined but that the postmaster herself (Elisha) takes zero responsibility - when I asked who would be disciplining HER, as she threw her employee under the bus in front of a customer. Great leadership, no wonder nobody wants to work there. Elisha needs to go before the few remaining good people leave to get away from her.

Mail theft led to me getting a PO Box. Then they change their hours constantly making it difficult to get mail.I should not receive any mail in my box at my residence as everything should be forwarded but I constantly find things for other people or packages and I have repeatedly said do not put anything in the box.Just again today after going in on Friday and saying do not put anything in my box, I find packages stuffed in the box and the box popped open being so full. Also, I founds weeks worth of advertising from grocery stores.

The drivers don't always "attempt to deliver". I constantly have to go pick up my mail 20 min away because the driver "attempted to deliver" but never did. It's nothing special. I think the driver doesn't believe I live here since I'm new here, but it's his/her job to deliver the mail, not assume who lives here.I'm going to make a formal complaint. I feel bad because this could cost the driver their job.

Postmaster and staff are incredibly rude and lazy; refusing to look for packages even though tracking info clearly shows the package is there. They are rude to customers and make up policies to suit there needs. Policies that their own customer service team is unaware of. They've also threatened police action against people who are inquiring about packages more than once a day claiming that in doing so you are harassing them. One quick call to the police department confirmed that it is not harassment to inquire about packages more than once, and that it would be a gross misuse of police resources if they were to call on customers who were doing so. Bottom line: they need a new postmaster who is friendly and who will do her job and is not lazy or rude about it. I would advise using any other post office in the future and avoiding Sutter Creek Post Office at all costs until they hire a competent post master.

0/5 stars. We've lived all over the country. And have never lived somewhere that comes up with new reasons to NOT deliver your mail each week. Incredibly mean post master. Unreasonable would be putting it too lightly. Is the USPS still a public service? We wish there was an alternative

I would give this 0 stars if I could. The clerk in there and the “postmaster” are absolutely rude. I have my mail on hold there because I currently don’t have a place to live and I’m waiting for important mail to come in. Including a check which I could really use because I have no money due to losing my job because of the COVID-19. I’ve checking everyday for my mail and the lady had the audacity to threaten me and tell me that she is going to cancel my hold if I continue you come in everyday.... meaning that she would send my mail to a place that I no longer live at because she was to lazy and irritated at me for no reason to keep checking. This is my lively hood that you are messing with and I’m pretty sure it’s illegal to withhold mail from me because you don’t want to do your job. HIGHLY UNPROFESSIONAL AND EXTREMELY RUDE.

Larger and more accessible in many ways than some of the other upcountry post offices. It may not contain the same charm as my usual Amador City location, but charm is rarely something you associate with a post office anyway. In that sense, they get the job done. The hours here are longer, there are more staff and there is rarely a wait except during busy seasons. Even when there is a wait, it feels like nothing when compared to the endless lines I encounter at the post offices I frequent down in Sacramento. Those are big grey government buildings with endless lines. Here, it's a nice little spot with nothing but small town country charm. The lady who helped me on my last visit (unfortunately her name escapes me) was super friendly and welcoming even after dealing with an unusually crabby customer before me. That's just plain professional service and one of many reasons to come back.
