I called to ask a quick question about after hour drop off the employee answer the phone with an attitude and said “this is Maria, I’m with a customer right now if it’s not something quick, I need your phone number to call you back” That is not how you’re supposed to answer the phone she politely could’ve asked if she can place me on hold. “This is hertz, may I place you on hold” GOES A LONG WAY. I called at 11:30, they close at 12. She was not going to call me back within that time frame. Then dropping the car off there are about 10 people in there with ONE EMPLOYEE, close at NOON on a Saturday and closed on Sunday's. This location needs 2 employees minimum possibly 3 so the third person can pull the cars around for the customer and 2 can handle paperwork.

I reserved a car days in advance . I got dropped off only to have them tell me they didnt have any cars .no explanation suggestions on wnat to do nothing, just no cars ,bye. I wasnt the only one there either. How can you reserve a car then they rented to someone else. I had to walk to enterprise and they told me they have people come from hertz all the time. Would not recommend will not try to rent from hertz again.

These guys were very nice and got me the car right away. HOWEVER, the car that was given to me was filthy dirty and for an electric car with only 11% battery, can't give you a five star

The lack of self awareness and terrible customer service here is off the charts!! Staff here is completely unaware of how ridiculously slow they are. Will never rent from Hertz again. Yuck

Make sure that the correct time is recorded when you return the rental - mine was not and I was charged to an extra day. Also if you upgrade the rental an upgrade fee will be charged per hour. My fee was $22.50 per hour for an upgrade fee of $30 per day.

I made a reservation to pick up my car at 8:00am. They only had 1 guy working check in desk. It took 2.5 hours to pick up car. I can understand he’s by himself but no urgency in his body, voice or anything. Not even “I’ll be right with you guys.” He needs some basic customer service skills. Hertz needs to hire another person because it seems like he hates his job. When it was finally my turn 2.5 hours later he said “we need to clean it.” I told him I don’t care because we needed to get on the road.
I’ve gotten better customer service than a vending machine, at least it tries before stealing your time. I’d recommend avoiding this location or go to enterprise & get a car rental from them.

Do NOT go to the Temecula location! They have only two agents and one is not trained properly. I had a reservation as I did it all online for 11:00am and I had to wait until 1:30pm to receive the car. I was overcharged for two days and only had it one day and never got my $100 deposit. I've Emailed and never got a reply. This is absolutely unacceptable! DO NOT GO THERE!! They also charged my niece thousands for a week rental as she was triple over charged. The two agents were checking in and out people, cleaning the cars, and taking keys for returns and not putting it into the system until the next day. Therefore, people were getting charged for another day when it was returned in time!

Rented for four weeks and received great service. Team understaffed but extremely patient and very responsive to customers. Fixed reservation date and payment issues immediately and sent follow ups while in the rental. Preferred rental agency also for alternative drop off locations.

Hertz gave me an unsafe vehicle. Got a flat tire within an hour of taking the vehicle. Office stated they would talk to manager to get the vehicle picked up. Vehicle stayed at the location for a few days until they called me to let mw know that vehicle was not picked up. Called office and another employee told me that I needed to take care of the situation. Left messages for Maria Ola manager to call me. No calls received. Asked for Area managers phone and Michael told me they didn't have his number only email. I sent multiple emails to both manager and area manager but no response for a couple days. The area manager Hootan stated that I signed the document an that i needed to take care of the vehicle pick up. I called to get the vehicle picked up and was told there would be fees for the TOW I did explain that I would not pay for it. Area manager emailed back that they would refund the tow, I asked how many rental days they would charge since it should be zero since the car was unsafe to drive BUT he told me he did not know that another department takes care of that. I requested the phone number of who to speak to BUT still waiting on the response... I will update after everything is finalized
Update 6/27
Emailed area manager Hootan 6/24 three times to get amount of days charged but stated another department takes care of it. No answer yet!
Completed the Hertz survey I’m suppose to have gotten a response but nothing.
So far no one has helped me! Very disappointing!

We rented from Expedia everything was paid for but since we needed a SUV they needed an additional $250 deposit which was never stated on Expedia they told me that they need a credit card on file for that apparently they're not able to use your debit card it took them 2hrs from start to finish I just didn't understand why if we had prepaid for the rental, fast forward to returning the rental mind you we washed the car and filled up the tank where it needed to be they still charged me $42 extra according to the guy the sales tax was not included on the rental which I think was BS but I did get my deposit back!
