“I had a big issue with my old car 8 months ago, and took it to other mechanic in Laguna Hills who over charged me for inspection and misinformed me that pistons are wrapped and the engine must be repaired, and since it is an old car it is not worth it. However, I had diagnostic from another shop in Lake Forest who told me I have electrical issue, but they cannot do electrical. I took my car to Pro Care Auto, and told the story to Jim. He performed diagnostics, changed wire harness, spark plugs, coils, and replaced the ECU with a used one for a very reasonable price. Since then my car is running smoothly. This proves how lack of knowledge by other shops can make your life very hard. I was lucky to meet Jim, knowing such an expert mechanic is a great benefit.”
“Recently I've felt like "I need to start writing more 3 or 4 star reviews, to show balance", but my experience at Tony's is NOT one where I'm going to start. When you find a mechanic that is not only knowledgable and has solid work ethic, but shows EMPATHY? Yeah, that's one you hold on to. Tony and his wife Susan were incredibly kind to me, even when my first time there I was not as patient due to the stress of the situation that I brought to THEIR door step. But after a month and a half and 3 or 4 positive experiences, I can honestly say this is a great place to bring your car when you are up the proverbial automotive creek without a paddle. They will take care of you. It may not look exactly as you had expected, but that's their job. To explain the reality, point out your options, and do a thorough job, while not making you feel like the less then mechanically inclined individual many of us are. Will be back. For sure.”

While I live in San Diego--I got a nail in my tire and had to pull off the freeway. After attempting Firestone (3hr wait) I googled tire shops and found this plaza full of auto shop options. Walking along all the other auto shops in this center--Horacio was the only place that had a person at the front counter ready to hear my need.
He drove my car around to take a look and came back in the lobby 15min later and said "done!". I was impressed with how quickly he got me back on the road. After a short conversation I found out Horacio and his family run this business with integrity and heart. I look forward to referring friends here and highly recommend bringing your car here.”
“This is the absolute best auto shop around. I take my Honda Fit here and my parents take their Toyota Highlander whenever it needs servicing. Michael and Lazarus are absolute pros. It’s a family-run business, which I love. They treat your car as if it’s their own. I’ve been going for years. It started with just a smog check for my Honda and now my dad and I both use this place for any and all repairs and servicing. Michael explains what your car needs in a way I can understand. My dad and I are so happy that we found this place and we’re never going anywhere else. A truly honest and supportive shop with people who absolutely care about their work and about your car. I came in with other repair orders I was given from other shops but thankfully, they told me they’d diagnose it themselves. I can’t tell you how RELIEVED I was. They were honest about what I did and didn’t need and didn’t try selling me other BS services like the other shops did. There’s no comparison ! “I had two screws in two tires. I booked an appointment during my lunch break to bring in my car for repairs. I thought to myself, I’m sure this free service was going to have strings attached. Up sale on this or that. I was very wrong. The salesperson (Josh) was friendly and professional. Explained there may be complications with one screw appearing to be imbedded sideways. 20 or so minutes later. “Good news the tires were easily repaired. Have a great day”. “Chris, the owner, is a good communicator. First he made an appointment with me so I could get in and out relatively quick, which at the dealer, I have to sit over 1 hour. Chris promptly met me at the scheduled appointment time. It was my intermediate service on my Prius, e.g., fluids, tires. He explained the tire pressure was down on all 4 due to weather. Price was certainly reasonable -- much more than my Toyota Dealer -- Chris was about 40% less. I highly recommend Finishline -- friendly and ethical owner. “Other local shop recommended this place. Never been there before. I scheduled an appointment for my 22 year old daughter with John to have a traction control service issue diagnosed. Newer Mercedes was periodically going into limp mode while driving (not safe).They treated her great and fixed the car in a few hours for only $125.00. It was only a dirty sensor issue. Imagine what Mercedes dealership would of charged… Characteristic of a good honest shop. Very satisfiedService: Auto engine diagnostic”
“This is a family owned small business. I've been going here for a few years for maintenance, and they even did an engine replacement for me on one of my vehicles. I appreciate the what feels like honest straight forward communication. I get the problem isolated and explained along with the solution(s) suggestions. The shop isn't the cheapest but trust worthy and they stand behind the work. I have seen the 3 year warranty sign on the front desk. I personally have never had to use that warranty.I've heard you get 2 out of 3 things in business transactions:time, quality, or price.These guys fall in the medium for time and price and high quality in my opinion. I appreciate this shop and the team that works here. They don't throw parts at my problem and hope to fix it. I usually get a diagnostic of the issue right the first time.Thank you S&S team.”
