Great assistance in locating a book. Plus the salesperson looked for additional links online. Very pleased with the entire experience at Barnes & Noble!

Unfriendly and cold with an unfortunately bad layout. After finding the several books I was looking for and ready to purchase them, I asked about the restroom and was told there was none. Moving on-I’ll just order the items online and won’t visit this location in the future.

I was able to get what I wanted and personally this is better than the Barnes I’ve been to in the past. They had a ton of the mangas I was looking and was able get the side story for it as well.

“Antitheft” stickers covering words in the book, not easy to remove. In principle this is revolting, and in practice I didn’t pay to buy a book with a ripped page in the middle.

Disappointing Experience with Poor Customer Service
I recently had a very disappointing experience at the Barnes & Noble branch located at The District at Tustin Legacy. This incident raised serious concerns about their customer service and management practices.
Three weeks ago, I purchased a toy from this store. Upon opening the box, I discovered that some pieces were missing. When I returned to the store to address the issue, I was met with an unprofessional and dismissive attitude from a staff member claiming to be the manager.
Instead of asking for the reason behind my return or referencing the store’s return policy, she immediately refused to accept the item, stating that the box had been opened. I explained that opening the box was necessary to realize parts were missing, but she was unwilling to listen or assist. Her behavior was aggressive, unprofessional, and lacked basic customer service etiquette, making an already frustrating situation worse.
It’s disappointing to see someone so untrained in a managerial role, as this reflects poorly on Barnes & Noble’s hiring and training standards. A manager should prioritize assisting customers and resolving issues, not escalating conflicts.
I hope this review prompts Barnes & Noble to address gaps in their training processes and ensure their staff at The District at Tustin Legacy location can handle customer concerns respectfully and professionally in the future.

Did not like this Barnes & Noble at all. Felt like a secondhand bookstore instead of a corporate chain. Also does not have cards or the same selection of..really anything. Desperately waiting for the orange location to be renovated.

I luv getting lost @B&N. I absolutely luvd the B&N in Santa Ana and am very sad that its closed (I read that it might only be "temporarily closed", but not sure?).
I've visited in Fullerton and that one's been my least favorite: it's too small and it didn't really have many of the books that peeled my interest. And to my surprise, there was a lot of rowdy people.
I decided to visit here, in 'Tustin' instead. I luv how organized it is, the genres are clearly visible and it had great books that Def intrigued me. However, I still wasn't 'wowed', it too seemed a bit small, the fantasy genre was huge, but its not my preferred read.
I found an awesome book: 'how to manifest-make your dreams a reality in 40 days'. I'm excited to finish reading it.
The atmosphere was nice & calm (unlike Fullerton). There's a few places to sit and read/relax. I believe, I even saw a small Spanish section too.

Huge B&N with modern aesthetics and great selection. It has more of an industrial chic feel than a library feel, which I personally like.

Most books list price, top sellers at a discount. Broad selection of hard covers, paperbacks, magazines. Some ephemera. Remainders well priced.
