I just picked up my car from G & C Auto Body and I couldn’t be happier. Being a woman taking a car in to get fixed (in my opinion) can sometimes be a bit intimidating. Costs, knowledge…things of that nature I personally lack experience on. My rep that assisted me was David Thur. Upon my first appointment for the estimate, I immediately felt very comfortable working with him. He listened to me 100% and understood exactly what I was trying to accomplish. David’s customer service demeanor was excellent and if I ever need anything done again on any of my cars, not only will I be hell bent on taking it to G & C, I will specifically be asking for David to assist me. Kindness, quality and price mattered a lot to me for this project and they did not disappoint in the slightest. The work done looks solid and my out of pocket cost was minimal (no insurance claim made). I received a quote previously from McCartys and the quote reflected several more parts than what I had asked for. They were kind as well, but with all the additional add ons that were not what I was asking for, the price was out of my budget. G & C/David listened and gave me exactly what I asked for. I am so grateful and very happy about the work. I couldn’t have asked for more. Thank you!!!!

After hearing great things about them I was confident leaving my car for an estimate after being hit. The car was deemed a total loss but seemed doable to fix. Not being able to get ahold of my insurance adjuster due to her being on vacation, I told G&C I was going to take the weekend but I would be back after. G&C seemed to have made the decision for me on my car without notice. Since they completely ripped apart my car for damage only to passenger rear quarter panel, door and suspension. Came back to both rear quarter panels were missing, my back window missing, my back seats taken apart, trunk lining was gone. Left yesterday being asked if I was releasing the vehicle to them, which at the time I could only reply with “guess I have to the car is much worse now than when I brought it in”

Avoid going here. I took my truck here after hitting a deer months ago. They did a good job on the body work, but they also put on a new tire and did not do an alignment. Now the tire is ruined and will need to be replaced. I will also have to get an alignment and pay out of pocket for it all.

Courteous, professional, and personal service. Josh and the rest of the staff, without exception, listened to our repair needs and circumstances and then did their best to find solution options that were right for us. I'm very satisfied. They have earned my trust and repeat business.

Hitting a dear was a real upset but the folks at g&c went above and beyond to make the nessicary repairs to my vehicle. I am especially thankful to Sandra for seeing my claim through from start to finish.
Update some years later: back again these folks still bringing great service. I was pleasantly surprised to find open guest wifi with no QOS policy.

I love this auto body shop! All the workers are efficient and handle business professionally. The women are very educated on vehicle inspections and the office is welcoming with clean restroom, coffee and snacks!

While the outside of my car looks fine. I still have problems almost 4 months later with a "death wobble" as some call it.. g&c has sent the car to other shops as I have, every shop detects a possible problem that will fix the issue when it in fact doesn't. G&C didn't test drive my car before the returned it to me the first time, nor was i notified with proper communication about my car unless i called asking about it. They also continued to drive my car after I was told all work was done and completed, they were satisfied and I could pick it up. They left my car unlocked several times while being left out in front of their office. I will never recommend them or ever use their shop again. I felt as a female I wasn't being taken seriously and was just being written off so they could be done.. which in fact they are now, without my car being fixed propwrly and restored to how it was prior to my accident I wasn't even at fault for.. save yourself time and energy. Pick a different shop.

G & C Autobody is the only body shop that we trust with our vehicles. My husband took his truck in on Monday for repairs and it was ready to be picked up on Wednesday! Call and ask for Justin he is very professional and keeps you well-informed of the progress of your vehicle. We are very satisfied customers don't even bother with the other body shops - G & C are by far the best in Mendocino County. Repairs are guaranteed for as long as you own the vehicle. Justin is your guy.
