We were visiting from Arizona and our kids tried a class at JJBJJ. We - us parents and our kids - were just so impressed with this academy. Professor Julio was very welcoming to all of us. He and his kids, the coaches of that kids class, offered great advice to our kids during each of their matches. You can tell they care about the development of their students. We look forward to visiting again in the future!

My son and I popped in for a class in December while visiting from Vancouver BC. Our friends had just moved to Santa Clarita earlier in 2022 and this was the club they discovered nearby. I can see why they chose JJBJJ. Nice gym with great coaching and a great vibe created by the other students. I'd definitely recommend the club to anyone living in the area.

Our family is very happy with the training style and warm welcome upon our first visit. We moved to the area in late 2019 and went to a couple of other training facilities but they didn't reach our expectations like Julio Juarez and his team. If you're considering a professional yet family-oriented BJJ environment, this is it.

I've been training here since 2011. Professor Julio is a very knowledgeable and engaging instructor. He doesn't play favorites in class and genuinely cares (and TRAINS) with all of his students. I could go on and on, but it's easier to come in and see it for yourself.

Have been coming here since 2015 and have nothing but good things to say about it. Julio is a great instructor who actually gets on the mats with ALL of his students. The atmosphere is great and everyone is there to learn. I also signed up my son and he is thoroughly enjoying the kids class. Highly recommend !!

I along with my son have been a student at JJBJJ for over a year. I must admit Im more than impressed. The instruction and experience is high level and consistent, the kids program is hands down the best in town, but what I love the most is the welcoming, humble and family environment throughout. I recommend this school to anyone that is serious about learning the art jiu Jitsu!!!!!

Julio Juarez BJJ is a great place to train BJJ. Not only is the quality of instructors top notch but those who attend JJ BJJ are welcoming to new members, train hard and are passionate about the martial art. Highly recommended!

My husband and son have been going to JJBJJ for over a year and a half, and we have been completely pleased with our experience. The coaches are all very knowledgeable, helpful and patient. The camaraderie amongst the students is unlike any other gym. My six year old has learned the importance of self-discipline, respect and self-defense, all while having fun. JJBJJ is a family oriented gym, with a positive learning environment and is hands down the best BJJ gym in SCV!

My son loves this school. The program for kids is the best around. Instructors are well organized, knowledgeable, have control of the class and keep safety of all the kids as the highest priority. Kids follow a structured program that still allows for fun and flexibility. All levels feel welcomed when joining a class. Highly recommend.
