Small place inside but good breakfast. The servers are nice. We had the Sonoma omelet and the egg sandwich w/spinach both dishes were delicious. It is the closest place to the Bodega Lodge for a tasty breakfast.

Probably one of the best burgers I've ever had. Had the chipotle cheddar burger with a side salad. I don't think I could've shoveled it into my face faster. Daughter had bacon and eggs, and some of the most legit bacon ever. Go here. Now.

We were looking forward to the food since we’ve been here before 6-7 months ago on our way to Bodega Bay. The food was amazing. But it was disappointing this time. We ordered a tuna melt sandwich and a mushroom sandwich with side salads. Both sandwiches were greasy. The sandwiches were saturated with grease that we can probably wring out all that oil on the napkin. The food was greasier than diner food. The salad was watered down with vinegeritte. It took us 20 minutes before we were able to order our food. Then it took us another 40-45 minutes before our food came. The waitress didn’t check on us until we were done to give us the bill. We had to get a stack of napkins ourselves to wipe all the grease from our hands each time we picked up our sandwiches because no on came to check on us. We left feeling like we ate cheap diner food rather than healthy farm to table food. Unfortunately, we would not be coming back to this cafe.

Came for brunch before heading back to the city. The place was packed so glad one table was available for us when we walked in. The staff were all super nice. I have to say mostly all the food is local and fresh. Looking at the menu all the prices were pretty decent since all the ingredients are local. I ordered the eggs Benedict and my husband ordered the tuna sandwich. OMG from the first bite we both were like wow , everything was delicious and tasted so fresh! I wish this place was near me...I would recommend to anyone cause you will not be disappointed!

We stopped in for breakfast on our way from Bodega Bay to SF. Breakfast was fantastic! The biscuits and gravy were delicious, and the chicken fried steak was really a cut above. I loved the greens that came with; nice touch! The coffee was great, too. We will definitely be back!

I stayed in a local hotel and came to Estero Cafe for breakfast. I was surprised. The prices were modest AND the food was great. Homemade apple butter for the toast. Fabulous hash browns. Great Swiss cheese on the eggs plus yellow peppers. Gourmet!!!

This spot is worth a visit. They have big portions for convenient prices. Always neat and with good ambience. Would recommend to others.

We had French toast, fried steak and breakfast salad, chocolate milk, decaf and regular cafe. Arrived Sunday morning at 10.30. We only had a 5 minute wait, ordered immediately and then waited for 45 minutes for our food. As we waited we noticed everyone else was also waiting. So if you’re in a rush, this probably isn’t the right place for you. But the food and staff made this a 5 star experience none the less. One of the best breakfast restaurants I’ve been to. Everything was delicious, well thought through and home made. The coffee in this area isn’t amazing - so it was nice to get a real cup after a few days of ‘diner coffee’. Thank you!

Food was tasty, service was lacking. My husband had been here once before for a lunch meeting and had a great experience so wanted to take me. When we went for breakfast the service seemed off. Our waitress took our order and was never seen again. The cook brought our food and we were never checked on. We ended up having to go to the register to ask if we could pay after waiting a minimum of 10 minutes after we were both done eating. The plates were never cleared and the check never dropped off at the table. I would give them another try, maybe we just got it on an off day! Food was cooked to order and tasted great!

My first experience with Estero was when my moms group had an event there and I was almost emotional about the food, in the best way possible. I had NEVER had an onion ring that didn't taste like a sweet worm with fried crust, at Estero the onion ring sang to me, made me feel like I only wanted one in case the next wouldn't be so heavenly. As a really picky eater, mainly texture aversion, I find it tricky ordering at places, not here! Let's see, now I live 15 minutes away and

Lovely cafe in Valley Ford. It's bright with a country style setting. There are lots of dairies and chicken farms nearby, so you may have to fight with a few flies. That just means you are close to the source of farm fresh food. Coffee is rich. Food is a little pricier than expected, but just the right amount of freshly made food. I had the veggie hash with potatoes, squash, mushrooms, red bell pepper and a little onion with scrambled eggs. Very tasty and a refreshing change to a traditional breakfast. He had the bacon avocado benedict with hash browns. He said it was delicious. He mentioned that the hash browns were a potato pancake, like I make. The service was excellent and attentive. They have scrumptious biscuits and fresh homemade strawberry jam. That was dessert, but they also have baked goods such as pies and cookies. We may return!

My husband and I have been here on multiple occasions, the first time we were here I had a seasonal item, the lamb burger. It was AMAZING. Since our first visit I have been on a hunt for a restaurant closer to home with the same flavor, but nothing compares. Unfortunately as mentioned it was seasonal, i'm not sure if it's back this summer, but if it is... you will not be disappointed if you try it. The food is fresh, you can taste the quality, and the bottomless coffee is also delicious. The owner, Samantha is very friendly, as well as the kitchen staff, they always provided us with amazing customer service. Yes, once in a while there is a wait, but the food is so worth it. I also want to note that there can be a lot of flies in the establishment, but we don't let that take away from our experience, I mean it's to be expected you're in the countryside. My husband and I have only ordered burgers from Estero, so I cannot speak for the rest of the items on the menu, but you can tell the food is fresh and the employees take pride in their work. I AM SO HAPPY WE FOUND THIS PLACE. Thank you Samantha & team!

Most of my dining out is done in Berkeley and San Francisco, so when I saw all the great review for this restaurant in a tiny town I was skeptical. I figured they were locals who didn't get to many other cities and/or are friends with the owners or whatever. However, it was the right location for the timing when we wanted to stop for lunch and I figured it wouldn't be bad.

Among the best little surprises in the area! Price, service, food, comfort . . . It's all here!

Estero Cafe is a fine place to have a tasty, satisfying meal for a decent, though not inexpensive price. The portions are average, you wouldn't want to split. The greens are beautiful. Lightly dressed. The food is freshly cooked. Diners can watch the cooking process as the kitchen is visible. The tuna for the tuna melt, for example, is poached in house and the tuna salad is made fresh and served on sourdough toast... delicious! The bathroom is unisex. There is a urinal, and some men clearly have a lousy aim. It was clean, but not at all sparkling. Parking is free and on the street.

My husband had the crab omelette with a side salad and I had the yogurt and fruit bowl. Everything was fresh and locally sourced. Great meal, incredible coffee and friendly staff! Would definitely recommend.

I have been longing to eat here for quite some time. As a family we regularly visit the Sonoma Coast and I have been happily drooling over Estero Cafe's Instagram page for a while. I FINALLY got to visit last Friday with family. At first I was quite surprised at the prices, but I thought OK well, you get what you pay for, right? So we all place our orders and the food comes out fairly quickly. I will be honest and say the portions were a bit small compared to the pricing, but I went with it. The food tasted amazing and the quality of the foods used to make our meals really shined thru. There was however one downside and that was our waitress. She really seemed like she could give a rats ass that we were there. She lacked any sort of enthusiasm whatsoever, and when I raved about the jam asking her what fruit was in it she replied "I have no idea...blackberries??" When another diner asked about wifi being sketchy she retorted "You're in the country". Her tone just screamed, I don't want to be here. And as a fan from afar it kind of made me feel let down with my experience. I get that everyone has bad days, but as a server, you kind of have to put your big girl panties on and suck it up buttercup.

Excellent food. Good strong wake-you-up coffee. Yes, they are laid back and a bit slow on service, but so what? It's the county and in a soothing bucolic spot. You're not rushed out when you are finished --and they make good on the bottomless coffee offer.

Quite yummy burgers with great very local cheeses, and the onion rings were particularly tasty! Breakfast items looked good too.
