Amanda was SO amazing! She gave me the best hair I think I’ve ever had. I left the salon unbelievably happy with the experience she gave me. She listened to everything I wanted and executed my ideas flawlessly. Will be back again!

Amanda is phenomenal!!! She’s cut my hair now twice. First after a disastrously bad haircut with someone else at a different salon, which she helped reshape to the extent that was possible before the hair could grow back (she also fit me in immediately and didn’t charge me to reshape since a full cut was not yet possible, which was such a kindness). And second once the hair had grown back enough for a proper cut. It’s my favorite cut I’ve had in many years. And she is awesome. I can’t say enough good things about her. So glad I found her.

I've been going here consistently for 7 yrs now to get bright, colorful fashion colors and it's truly my favorite place. I recommend it to my friends all the time and anyone looking for a great experience to get great hair! I've never had a bad time, and Amanda is my go-to (she's so good!!) but everyone there is so fun and caring about your experience.

I've been getting my hair done by Amanda for a while now, and I always leave the salon happy and feeling great about my hair! She has an incredible eye for style, and I trust her so much that I usually just let her do her thing—she never disappoints. I constantly get compliments on my hair, and it's all thanks to Amanda's talent and creativity. If you're looking for someone with great taste who really knows what they're doing, I highly recommend her!

Amanda is amazing!!!! I cannot rave enough about her. The colors she creates are perfection. And wish a few simple words she knew EXACTLY what I wanted. I’ve already been to her twice for a balayage and I’m definitely going back to her. No one else I would trust!

Amanda at Trilogy Hair Studios is the best. I would highly recommend her for any hair service but she is the queen of the balayage. Im a natural dark brunette and Amanda has given me a beautiful, natural lift with the nicest blend. Not to mention she is a blast to hang out with. If you are looking for a place to get your hair done, look no further.

I would strongly recommend against getting highlights with Tara. I have been getting my hair highlighted for decades and never before have I returned to the colorist for correction more than once. Each time that Tara did my hair, she put toner in to correct/hide the color to which the bleach actually lifted. But each time, the toner washed out. The first time, I didn’t say anything and lived with the horrible yellow color. But I could hardly wait to change the color, so I went back sooner than I ordinarily would and wasted more money. The second time, she put some product with fragrance even though I told her that I was allergic. As a result, I washed my hair, the toner washed out which is not supposed to happen even if you wash your hair, and my hair was yellow. They fit me in 3 weeks later to fix it. If there is a problem with your hair, a stylist will usually get you in immediately.The next time, she had her assistant check my color after the bleach processed. After everything that happened, she couldn’t be bothered to check herself because she “double books.” If a stylist double books, they might do a haircut on one client while bleach is processing on another. Tara will have 2 clients with bleach on their hair at the same time. The assistant said that my hair was white and we needed to shampoo it. At the shampoo bowl, the assistant literally said that my hair was yellow and that it needed toner. Tara then asked me not to wash my hair so that the toner didn’t wash out. I then waited 3 days to wash my hair, bought a new showerhead and a filter. Her toner still washed out.To add to this, in my opinion, Tara nickel and dimes you. Don’t expect to get a straight answer about pricing. You might get a price for highlighting and then Tara will bill you sepately for extra bleach, extra color, toner, Olaplex, etc. The blow dry is not included. In my opinion, if a colorist is experienced, she should be able to look at my hair and figure out what I need and give an honest price. Before you check out, Tara whispers the price to the staff so that they can charge you. She can’t talk to you about price but she certainly knows how to take your money.Because Tara double books, she may leave you waiting for up to 45 minutes.Finally, the last time that I was there for Tara to hide the yellow color with toner, she told a staff member to book me at the end of a day so that she didn’t double book me. Another person who works there (Kaylie) intervened and said that they could book me at 1:30. The day before my appointment, the “salon” called me to confirm my appointment and said that it was at 12:30. When I said that it was at 1:30, Kaylie told me that I could come at 1:30 but that Tara would have to leave at 2 p.m. to pick up her kids. Utterly obnoxious. Tara doesn’t leave at 2 pm. I’m any event, I pointed out that, if that were the case, Tara would not finish my hair even if she started at 12:30.I told Kaylie that Tara said that she did not wanted to double book me. Kaylie asked if I had ever been there before like we didn’t just discuss my conversation with Tara. Kaylie said that Tara always double books and and that if I did not want to be double booked, I would have to pay PAY DOUBLE FOR TARA. Understand? I have to pay double so that Tara could do the job correctly.After my experience with Kaylie, I wrote to Tara and said that I was not coming back. I now believe that Kaylie was speaking for Tara or protecting her because she knew that Tara couldn’t get my hair done properly. In any event, Tara said, among other things, that she has never know Kaylie to be unprofessional. It really doesn’t matter because she was unprofessional and rude to me and a review on another review site referred to Kaylie as “rude.”The place is dingy and the ceilings are stained which you get to look at prior to paying approximately $300.I know two other people who go to her and, looking at their hair, I have no idea why they go back.Tara does know how to cut hair and that’s the only thing that I would recommend.
