Buyer Beware!!!In 2023, I found Kobe Movers through Angiie’s List. I turned to Angie’s, believing they had vetted their companies but they did/do not. Instead, I learned the hard way that vendors pay hundreds to thousands of dollars to be high-rated and drive business their way.Angie’s (now Home Advisors) is nothing more than a marketing platform for businesses. This means some unscrupulous vendors pay to have clients such as myself believe we/I are safe and will be working with safe, trustworthy people, but this is hit and miss for customers. Reviews and ratings are not reliable, and they cannot be believed.In fact, Angie’s or Angie’s List changed the name of their company to Home Advisors due to a costly lawsuit they lost….“a company affiliated with Angi, formerly known as “Angie's List” – used misleading tactics to sell home improvement project leads to many small businesses operating in the gig economy. A proposed settlement in the case includes $7.2 million for refunds.Jan 27, 2023”I hired four movers with Kobe Movers, believing this would save me money, but it did not. Two of the movers disappeared between my former residence and my new residence for over two hours, and I had no way of reaching them. They stole many boxes and items I had collected over a lifetime.I did not realize this until after they left when I began to unpack. Carlos, the head mover, also tried to intimidate me and shake me down for more than the agreed-upon fee.I later learned from one of the movers that three of the four movers lived in their cars.In an attempt to resolve this matter, I spoke with the owner, Felix, who yelled at me, accusing me of lying. He also sent threatening text messages, using intimidating and bullying tactics toward me rather than taking responsibility for the shady individuals he hired.This was when I turned to Angie’s, believing they would surely deal with this egregious act. But it was a nightmare to even connect with an Angie’s representative. Angie tries to wear people with such issues down by making it nearly impossible to reach a representative. It took months and hours and hours to connect with Angie’s representative. For days and hours each day, I was bounced between Home Advisors and Angie’s phone representatives. After several months and many hours, I was finally told Angie had no responsibility for what occurred. Further, they stated they had no legal department and would only pay for the arbitration.The company conducting the arbitration is called Fair Claims. It, too, was a sham. I would not be surprised if they were owned by Angie’s.So do be aware that Kobe Movers, Angie’s, now renamed Home Advisors, and Fair Claims are deceitful and corrupt, whose only intention is to make money by taking advantage of people. I lost over $40,000 in belongings.

This company is very accommodating for the changes and reliable in delivering. I had 4 different destinations with my move. Accidentally thing got mixup with 2 boxes. They are nice enough to add and bring back the 2 boxes from California to Texas and back to California. I recommended this Kobe moving. .the movers are friendly, we have no broken stuff.

Felix, Sam and their crew took care of my stuff very efficiently, and I am very satisfied with my whole experience. Very hard working, and I would definitely recommend them and use them again!

I spoke to the supervisor. The owner approved the refund for the bed frame that was not disassemble. He did offer to fix the broken gate latch but my landlord took care of it. Updated to 4 stars for company communication efforts to resolve the issues.

Moose & Anthony were Super - Professional, polite, fast workers, fair price, good problem solvers on best way to move items, careful in moving , loading / packing and unloading our possessions into the new home in Beverly Hills. Would definitely recommend them, 10 out 10 stars

Kobe moving is awesome! We loved working with our three guys, they were so positive, happy, on time and so willing to work hard. They did a great job packing our stuff and we would definitely hire them again for any future moves

They arrived on time and carefully wrapped and loaded the furniture from two bedrooms and the living room. They transported the furniture to the storage space and then as carefully and efficiently unloaded the furniture. They were very professional and easy to work with.

This was the best experience I’ve had with movers. Felix from the office was up front with the rates and the fees that they would charge, there were no hidden surprises at the end. Joseph and his team worked quickly and carefully, no damage to any of my items or to the old house and new house. Highly recommend!

Just had a great and easy move with Kobe Moving. Via phone and email, Felix made the contract and pricing clear upfront, and when Joseph and his crew arrived, he went over the pricing structure again so there were no surprises. His three-man crew moved all of our stuff safely and efficiently, and they were done in just over 4 hours. Highly recommended!

Had one of the worst experience with these people, they tried charging me $750 for a 3 and half hour move with 2 guys and only 15mins worth of driving.I would never hire them again. Wasted over 25mins going back and forth with the movers over this, nothing was set up literally just dropped everything in my living room, was not worth the money at all. Rather do it by myself next time.One of the movers was nice but the other guy really try going back and forth with me when he knew he was in the wrong. Never againYour response to this matter is still not accurate,The guys worked for 3 and half hours, no furniture was assembled or any unwrapping was done, they load the truck and unloaded it at my apartment, I still over paid you guys.I rather you guys be honest and accurate about what happened instead of trying to save face with an inaccurate response!

Called Felix about a month ago to schedule 3 movers to come to my apartment yesterday and they did not disappoint! All three of the guys "Julian x2, My Tio (forgot his name)" were on top it. It took them about 5 hours to load my One Bedroom Apartment on the second floor(no elevators), and transfer to my new townhome with 3 flights of stairs. I told a few people about my experience and they all you said you could have rented a U-haul truck and hired three guys from Home Depot and saved money... Well let me tell you about that experience as well! We gave our 3-piece sofa sectional away to a friend who hired guys from home depot well they ruined my apartment wall, took the paint off the door along with the paint on the stairwell, and left scratches on the furniture. Now I'm worried this will affect my security deposit for giving away my sofa, for free, to a friend, who wanted to save money, by hiring non-professional people. Anyways back to Kobe Moving, these three guys didn't leave not one mark on my wall, extremely professional and kind and were very transparent during the move. And Thank You to Ben for helping my husband with his bill!Pro Tip: If you plan on packaging your own stuff label your boxes in advance (I used a lime green tape), have enough tape on hand, and extra boxes. This will come in handy and save you money down the road just incase your box rips, box is to heavy, or they need it to wrap your TV if you opt not to purchase the TV cover. I have an old TV and Mirror that I like but didn't love so I wasn't stressed if something happened to it but not one mark on either item!
