  I had a very disappointing and humiliating experience at this location. I brought my mother in for a blow dry appointment, and we arrived just seven minutes late. We were told to wait and I waited 45 minutes with my mom, but after waiting, they informed us that they would not be able to take her.
  
  What made the experience worse was the way we were treated. The staff was extremely rude and unprofessional, even telling me that as a man, I should not be there. My mother does not speak English, and I was simply trying to help her understand what was happening. Instead of showing any courtesy or compassion, they treated us with disrespect and discrimination.
  
  This was unacceptable, and I hope management takes this feedback seriously so no one else has to go through an experience like this.

  For the second time I made an appointment and received a call to let me know they were running 15 minutes late and if I could come in at 11:45 am instead of 11:30am. When I arrived no one was available and they said it would be a longer wait. This is the second time I’ve had this happen at the Walnut Creek location. I had other appointments that I had to make and couldn’t wait around. I’m not happy, and will be canceling my membership. Especially after I heard the staff say, “ this happens all the time.”

  I requested the souther comfort blow out, and while she did a wonderful job teasing my hair, it wasn’t voluminous, soft and bouncy. I also left with the top of my head being flat. I immediately knew I had to retouch my curls before the wedding. Wouldn’t recommend unless you book with their top best stylists.

  I have been a Drybar monthly (“barfly”) member for almost 5yrs. I am in the Bay Area for a funeral today & booked 2 appointments for my Mother & I for 8:30am via the app. I then received a text message (within the 12 hr time of our appointments), asking if we could please revise our appointment times from 8:30am to 8:45 & 9:15. I responded that those times would work. My Mother and I then arrived at 8:25am and were told by one of the stylists (only 2 here) that they are unable to accommodate us because they were not informed about the appointments. Please correct me if I’m wrong, but is this the way to run a business?

  You know this place is poorly managed when even on a Monday when there’s hardly anyone scheduled, they are still running 40 minutes behind.

  This was my first time at Drybar and I was seriously impressed. The space was modern and inviting, and my stylist made me feel totally comfortable. She talked me through the options, helped me pick a style that worked for me, and the end result was even better than I expected. I’ll definitely be back — I’m hooked!

  Charis did my hair for a wedding and I was blown away (no pun intended.) Drybar is very hit or miss and you never know how your hair will turn out, depending on the stylist you’re given. My hair is super long, frizzy/straight and hates to hold a curl. Charis said, say less, and took her time to give me an amazing smooth blow out, followed by pin curls. I was amazed my curls lasted all night! I’m not sure what type of wizardry she did on my hair, but I was beyond impressed! She will be my go to girl I call for getting my hair styled for big events!

  I love Shauna at drybar! She does blowouts and dry styling like no one else! She takes her time and doesn’t rush through and makes sure it’s an amazing experience! 100% recommend getting a blowout here with her <3

  I come here a couple times a month. I have curly/textured hair and everyone here does a great job.
  Today Charis did my hair and I absolutely love it! She’s very nice and has the strongest wrists in the business if you have thick or coarse hair that you want to tame she’s your gal!

  The stylists are good and nice but very consistently they run very late. I have had to wait 30-45 minutes more than once and today was told the wait would be 45 minutes and there was no way for them to fit me in later. Unfortunately due to an appointment I had no flexibility. I have had them run 30 minutes late even when booking the first appointment of the morning. So I would say if you aren't flexible with your timing, schedule somewhere else. But if you can take extra time they always do a good job.
