Very basic, but typical golf club food. Lovely location and could be very good.

I had an errand to run in the Northgate area and was ready to head over to Buchanan to work on my swing. Once I realized where I was, I headed over to Boundary Oak. As you drive up, you see the nice green fairways and large clubhouse. There's plenty of parking too. The driving range is in the rear and there is an area for putting and short chipping. You purchase your balls from a machine- the price was nice too... about $6 for a medium bucket. I didn't count but it has about 30 individual bays, half of which are covered from the sun. You hit towards a hill that has seen better days. It's pretty worn out and mostly dirt. The individual turf pads and tees were in good shape. It'd be nice if the distance markers were updated. I would rate the driving range at 3.5 if possible, and a solid 4 if I could tell my distance.

Great spot to hit a bucket of balls. Added bonus of hearing gunshots from nearby Walnut Creek police shooting range. Well maintained golf mats, tees and automatic golf ball dispensers. Also, can't beat the view from this hillside location.

Great layout, awesome staff. Greens are challenging but fair, which is rare for a public course. Solid option in Walnut Creek!

Great bunch of guys here. Course is challenging and a great value. This City owned golf course is always busy and for the number of rounds it sees every year is in good shape.

One star because the groundskeeper and marshal were talking trash about our group when they thought we couldn't hear. Yeah we know we are bad at golf, did you want us to get better? If we do, it won't be here.

I came across this golf course when I was at Walnut Creek. I brought my clubs in my car and decided to hit the driving range. This review is only for the driving range and not the 18-hole golf course. It was a hot afternoon and this range has only a few covered stalls. If my count is right, it has only 5 stalls that are covered. The total number of stalls is no more than 20. It has a cash/card-operated kiosk to dispense a range of balls. For $10 large bucket, it gives you 90 balls I saw a sign that it has grass as a range but it was closed at that time. I had a good practice swing for a large bucket. I was fortunate to use one of the covered stalls. I went to the golf shop and check the area around. I saw the first tee and it looks like this course is flat. However, I've to play here and rate how good this golf course is. I gave it 3 stars since I still have to try this course. Once I come back, I can give them a good review.

Went to the driving range for first time last weekend. There were mixed reviews so i was not sure what to expect. I loved the ample parking, quick easy machine to get balls and then just walk up and use any stall thats open. Pretty views all around. some stalls have shade and there are benches and a few picnic tables in the corner. I thought it was a close convenient place to hit some golf balls and I would go back! Also I would like to point out this is the only driving range I have been to so I am not comparing it to anywhere else.

Post pandemic this course is in bad shape. Lack of employees prevent them from keeping this course in pre covid shape. This was once one of the top Bay Area course but don't waste your time here until they're back in full production. They city of Walnut Creek has increased their rates and no longer considered a bargain unless your a resident.

Nice layout, nice variety of holes with good shot values, visually beautiful course. Problem is, for the past year and a half the greens have been terrible. Specifically they have been very bumpy. The greens used to be smooth and fast. Now there are times that they are almost un- puttable. Play recently the greens were soo bumpy. No other public courses around here have so poor putting surfaces. Club managers - please fix this.

I went here for a holiday party recently. The decorations were cute and very festive. I wanted to talk about the food here. The chicken was the star for me and the amount of veggie selections were distinctive. Normally caterers slap on a bunch of starchy food but this was divine and tasty! Would def come back again!

Went to the range which has potential but the practice balls are some of the worst that I have ever seen. Hard to practice when balls are busted and have no dimples. Its not like there were a few beat up balls, I would say 30-40% of my basket was dead balls

Beautiful wedding venue. Bar tenders were turning the whole night around and throwing bad vibes everywhere. If you use this spot I would go with a personal bar/ tender.

This place is so beautiful! Angelique made the experience of exploring this venue quite fun. When she said "We can make it happen" it really resonated with us! The willingness to make it happen is truly beautiful especially for our magical wedding! Angelique has the best personality for a wedding coordinator. She was very patient with my fiancé & me. We had a lot of questions & Angelique was patient and understanding. The venue itself is beautiful. The bathroom for the guests are clean and well-maintained. I can't wait to marry the love of my life at this place! Thank you Angelique.
