This was my first time entering an Aldi and I was pleasantly surprised how much I liked it. Since this is the only Aldi I've been to, it seemed on the smaller side as far as supermarkets go, such as our local Sprouts. But overall, everything was fairly clean and laid out, but what I liked the best is that their prices were very reasonable. We did get a bit too many of their sweet items, such as cookies and donuts, which weren't actually that good so we probably won't get that again, but as far as fruit, butter, and other regular items, I thought the prices were very reasonable. As others have noted, the staff wasn't exactly friendly, but it was adequate. Also, for a Sunday evening, it was very empty compared to other supermarkets we've visited during that time. For that alone is worth going here.

The store has a good variety of things. My cashier Alicia, so best good friend, knowledge sign language and with disabled people, and because of that I coming back here, 1st and again time. As that you have to deal with customers make the business look good. 5 star.

The store has a good variety of things. Not crowded. But the cashier Alicia, so rude, not sympathize with disabled people, and because of that I definitively not coming back here, 1st and last time. As I always said if you don't like dealing with people, perform another job that you don't have to deal with customers, because otherwise you make the business look bad.

Not a wide selection of brands but good prices on the store brands. You can get the most common food items here, but will have to go elsewhere for those that are not. Be aware that the store brand label looks a lot like the name brand. Good items in weekly ads that are not usual items carried all the time. I like many of the non food items they get onky once and sell until gone. Best prices around on eggs. Bag your own groceries. Rent a cart for 25 cents and get it back when you return it.

Nice store! It's located in a popular Walnut shopping area but I had no problem finding parking. This location is clean and very organized. The produce look fresh and displayed nicely where it is easy to handle and look for those extra nice strawberries. The aisles are wide and clear. Very good prices on cheese and veggies. Very cool keto choices offered but they don't sell any decaf coffee... there is plenty of things to choose from but not everything can be found there. If you are looking for a particular brand, this is not the spot to go to. Looking for the same item you bought a few weeks ago? It might not be there. Still I think it's a nice spot to take a look and see what new things one could try!

Do not come to this Aldi!!!!
They made up their own limitations on how much you can buy when it's not even listed on their ads.

I like ALDI USA but not this particular store (Walnut, CA).I had a very bad experience with the manager a few weeks ago. She was rude, unprofessional, and condescending. Her managerial and customer service skills are beyond poor and reprehensible.

The cashier said there was a limit on avocados. I told him there was no sign. I even checked before grabbing the avocados. He made me remove 5 avocados. Then he says, "sorry, I thought there was a sign." Instead of having to go check himself or ask an employe, he made me take out the avocados. Then he says, "well there's a shortage of avocados right now." Its a dumb petty thing to complain about on my part but I literally shop and spend over $100 at this Aldi every week. The kid didn't have to make me take out the avocados. I didn't want to be a Karen, but he acted like he grows the avocados himself. It's not like I was buying multiple packages of toilet paper or eggs that have a maximum limit. Rude employee. Smh

I get Trader Joe's vibes here. It also reminds me of a mini Walmart cause they sell food and random house items, which are affordable. I could genuinely say Aldi store associates are the best. When my eggs cracked during checkout, they told me to get another box. I was amazed that they care. This shows their integrity and commitment to excellent customer service and grocery items.
Despite having 1-2 registers open, I like how they're fast at ringing each customer up. I bought about 10 items and it took me less than 1 minute to checkout. The store associates are really good at what they do too. I appreciate them so much especially the woman who patiently waited for me to choose my avocados before restocking again. A HUGE THANK YOU to the staff and management :)

I was so happy when I found out that Aldi was opening in Walnut. I normally do the grocery shopping but there were times I let my hubby go. One Wednesday, I asked him to go after his work so we can take advantage of the meat sale that is valid only for one day. The chicken tenders were $1.99/lb! But i just cannot believe that this tray (attached photo) weighs 4.84 lbs!!
Just for comparison purposes, a big wide tray of chicken drumsticks is 4lbs.
