Terrible service. Low quality job. Went in for a perm, and the stylist basically did it hurriedly, that the back portion of my hair is still straight. Still had to pay $100 for a half assed job. Go to a real salon. Do not come here.

The reviews to this place were kind of mixed, but I was desperate and needed a haircut and a blow dry that same day! I walked in, and they were very friendly guy was taken care of, and it was a great haircut and style for a great price. My daughter decided to go a week after me and she got complimented on her haircut. Definitely going back!

Im satisfied for may hair done by Malou. I would like to recommend Salon de Manila by Malou . Just drop to the Salon de Manila and try to do your hair . They also offer for the facial. Just go there and try to take care of your hair .

Her staff disappears. She said 5 minutes. 5 minutes pass and nothing. Our time is precious to especially with hungry little ones. We ate and came back And still waited. This is the 2nd time. I used to love going to her. Not anymore.

This is in L.A. county not Orange county. But my experience here is no different. That's how far gossip travels. When I was attacked, my attackers in Westminster Ca. Took pictures of me so I am convinced this is why these things are happening. Since it's ruined my life and my livelihood 'canceling me' I am ready to just put it all out into the open. The shampoo washing person here also assaulted me by scratching me on the same spot as the others did. Then laughs about it when I kept saying something about it. I even heard her bragging about it to their male manager or owner about it. I got a haircut and hair dyed done here. I would never go back and I would never recommend them. My suggestion to your business is if you don't want to help a specific customer like me, then just say no. There is no need for violence. One day you people will meet someone who is litigious happy and you will get your comeuppance.

My mom and I came all the way from Houston Tx to West Covina Ca, to get our haircut from Ms. Malou and all we can say is, no one does our hair better than her and her salon! She was very welcoming and friendly as we entered the place and we have never trusted any other salons to do our hair. She always asks and consider what style you want and offer recommendations. As well as making sure that you get what you want and love it❤️

Malou ruined my hair back in high school (around 6 years ago). My Yelp review from then isn't there anymore but I wish it was! I came to her with a spotty botched "balayage" from another stylist...just for Malou to ruin it even more. At the time I wanted a fix on my blonde hair with some of my roots showing. She gave me solid yellow hair with a crown of black roots. Not a balayage at all. You know a stylist is bad when they say yes to something they clearly don't have expertise in. My ends were VERY fried (crispy, tangly, and nasty) and it took me nearly two years to recover from that. She did not care for the integrity of my hair, a good stylist will be honest with what they CAN and CAN'T do to your hair. Believe the bad reviews, because if this was my experience in 2016 and she is still getting these type of reviews (similar to mine) in 2022, then she has not improved since then. She was also kinda rude and did not necessarily make you feel comfortable in her chair. And yes, she gets very razor happy with her thinning shears, she made my ends way too thin and that's what made me change into blunt haircuts. Unfortunately my hair was botched in high school when balayage was newer and I didn't know what made a good stylist versus a bad stylist. Make sure you find a stylist that actually cares for the health of your hair instead of just taking the money and doing whatever they want with it.

Salon de Manila is always be my great choice for my beauty. A fully renovated cozy place where you can pamper your self. Ate Malou always makes our hair fantastic, been with ate Malou for 7 years now. Thanks for the great service ate Malou!! Mabuhay Salon de Manila.

Do mind any of the bad reviews!! My boyfriend and I came for a haircut and the ladies did such a wonderful job!! I showed Mrs Karne a reference picture for my haircut and she did just that and more! I am wowed by the results (: Also the service was great, price is quite cheap too! love the very sweet ladies! Definitely will be coming back
