I absolutely NOT recommend this salon.
Very chaotic atmosphere.
On May 2nd, I had the most horrible haircut by Joan Brochard.
I regret very much going to Benjamin salon and thinking that Joan was a good stylist. Not even close especially that he was highly recommended.
What a shame and disappointment.

Amazing salon! I come in to see Allison, specifically. I'm very particular with who cuts my hair, and she kills it every time. Will ABSOLUTELY be coming back!
Stylist: Allison is my stylist. She's does amazing work and is able to manage my thick, unwieldy hair.

He does such an amazing job at curating specific looks to you, your vibe and what would look best with your facial structure. His knowledge and care for styling, cuts and color is so extensive your look and hair is safe in his hands!! Mateo doing your hair is the moment!

My hair has never been this FABULOUS and healthy THANKS to: CHLOE for color & MATT for cut. They are both the BEST in their field. I would follow them anywhere but the good news they are both with Benjamin Salon in West Hollywood, a customer friendly, unpretentious, good vibe salon. It's a comfortable place to get glammed. Highly recommended.

So I was looking to go from my dark black hair to platinum and Mateo did it with no problem. Not only does my hair grow faster it's healthier than ever ! I have a sensitive scalp and allergic to bleach and he gets the job done right the first time! He is definitely a talented artist!

I love Benjamin Salon and my favorite hair guy by far is Mateo Lara. I am a very happy client of several years and will not go anywhere else. Benjamin has an excellent vibe, great location and Mateo is a total genius. He works with a variety of clients and has a beautiful aesthetic. You will fall in love.

On Feb 15th I wrote them an email explaining every details of the situation, being vulnerable, and show them so much respect. But I never heard anything back from them. I was hoping Eventho they don't have any spots for me it would be just a simply respond "no" out of the compassion of being human so I can figure out what to do next. But I didn't even get that. I don't know if this was a lack of compassion or they just simply don't give a crap. :(

The most elegant & sophisticated salon. Benjamin has the best artists, especially Mateo. Mateo has been doing my hair since I was around 8 years old and I have never met a sweeter, more talented artist. His work is one of a kind and I have never been let down with the work he has done on my hair. The quality of this salon's services are impeccable!

Mateo Lara is the best hairstylist I have ever had. He's great about listening to what I want while also suggesting his to freshen up my look now and then. He's brilliant with blonde balayage!!! I am always so happy when I leave his chair, plus he's a delightful person to be around. Can't recommend him or Benjamin Salon enough.
