Didn’t buy anything. Was just curious to see. At the back of a house. Looks like straight out of Oliver Twist. Excellent selection of wine from Europe.
Looking forward to a Schiopettino when I am back in LA next time.

If you ever wanted to combine the joys of shopping for wine and browsing a fusty used book store, this place is for you. They have an impressive selection, including hard to find varietals and reasonably priced bottles. The staff is polite and knowledgeable (especially the resident dog). This place has a kind of welcoming worn-in charm otherwise missing in the area. It is my favorite place to shop for wine in the LA area by a mile.

Over the years, I've found this to be the best source for wine in West Hollywood/B.H.. The proprietors offer excellent recommendations for wines that always exceed expectations, and at a reasonable price point. The selections are heavily European, more specifically French, providing a refreshing break from our excellent California wines.
Well worth a visit.

Wonderful place where you can buy a wide variety of wines and get great help from the manager, Rob. Absolutely a perfect place to buy the best wines in town!

if you live in West Hollywood and you don't know about this neighborhood gem, where have you been? Robert has introduced us to some seriously good wine. And he does it in the most-unpretentious and delightful way possible. His descriptions are always spot-on! it always feels good to support a local business, but supporting Du Vin is easy. They know what they are talking about and they are interesting and fun to talk to. Also: wine! Fabulous, wine!

I'm so bummed they haven't been able to repair their electricity yet but they've managed to still run their business by taking orders on the phone or at the door. Very lovely time chatting with the two gents at the front and left with several great bottles and some excellent bread.

I stop by whenever I'm looking for a special gift for my wife or for a party. Robert - I never get his name, but the other reviews call him Robert - is SO easygoing and knowledgable. There is no snobbery at Du Vin: you can ask for the cheapest wine in the house and he'll smile and find it for you. Or tell him you're looking to spend $15 or $50 or $200 on however many bottles, and he'll work with you. Just tell him what you like and what you don't. He's passionate about wine and happy to educate you. Pro tip: Du Vin also carries a lot of interesting and hard-to-find spirits, from small batch bourbons to obscure scotches. They even have fresh french bread and chocolate! And the place is tucked away and cute - a true neighborhood gem.

If you are not a local from the area think twice about going to this place, the person who received us at the entrance treated us in a rude, uneducated and vulgar way. If you don’t have idea how this store works, don’t even think about asking, you're going to get kicked out just for asking. Nobody deserves to be treated this way and much less when you are willing to spend your money in this establishment.

If you are not a local from the area think twice about going to this place, the "person" who received us at the entrance treated us in a rude, uneducated and vulgar way. If you don't have idea how this store works, you better keep off this place for your own peace. Nobody deserves to be treated that way and much less when you are willing to spend your money in that place.
