This review is long overdue - If you are looking for an incredible stylist in LA, you have found one in Houston! I have never loved my hair so much as when Houston works his magic on it. I am super picky when it comes to my hair and read countless reviews before scheduling with him, and I am so very glad I chose him. Houston is warm, vibrant, and super knowledgeable when it comes to working with your face shape and color scheme to create the most flattering colors and styles. He is the first person I have trusted to update my balayage after I wasn't thrilled with the way previous highlights panned out and he knocked it out of the park! I also so appreciate him for being resonable and sensible in not making my hair too high maintenance. Houston also does an incredible job of suggesting what would look great, and last fall he said (and I quote) "Today we are going to make your hair like a pumpkin spice latte" as well as at a later appointment "I want it to look like someone has cracked open a decadent snickers bar and the caramel is just melting into the chocolate," AND HE DELIVERED. Um.... SOLD. Since he has been in charge I have gotten so many compliments from strangers in LA - a total win! Not to mention it woud be a pleasure to spend all day in his chair, as he is such a lovely human being and we have the most wonderful conversations. I could go on for an eternity about how amazing he is - Thank you Houston!!

I've been going to Houston for 5+ years and counting. He's seamlessly covered up old ombre for me (I seriously couldn't tell where my natural color ended and the dyed parts began!), guided me through bangs (fixed them after I cut them myself in a moment of weakness), growing out my hair, bobs, lobs, and growing out (again). He is so talented, and he's such a great person, it's always a pleasure to see him! Whether I've had a clear vision for what I want done, or just a sort of change, I have always been incredibly happy walking out of Houston's salon. He meets you with enthusiasm and positivity, and will offer great advice if you're stuck on what you'd like to do. If you're thinking about seeing Houston, stop debating and book your appointment already! He offers a free consultation so you can meet him first and discuss your hair goals. (There's free parking w validation, too.) You won't be disappointed. You're in great hands with Houston.

Dylans my go to guy. I have been seeing her for 2 years I want to say? Maybe longer. I have hair issues and he has never complained about me freaking about cutting my hair or coloring it etc etc.

I made an appointment with Houston on the recommendation of several coworkers who won't go to anyone else for their hair needs, whether it be a hair cut, color, perm, what have you. After bouncing around to several hair stylists over the years that were closer to where I live, I finally went in last week to get my hair cut and I am so sad it took me so long to go to him! I felt like I was given individualized attention and that he cared about my hair. He listened to what I wanted and what I didn't want, and I left his salon with a beautiful cut. He's my new hair stylist and I'm so happy to be done bouncing around trying out new salons and hoping I'll leave somewhat satisfied. I can't wait to go back!

I just got my hair done today for Halloween and I am so pleased with how it came out. I really do love it! You know it is a good thing when you leave the salon feeling sexy. I am so excited to sport my cat costume tonight with this new hair. I actually came here through group on because the guy that usually does my hair was out of town. I am so glad that I did and I think I just might be switching to this salon now! Thank you for making me feel like a super star.

I came in with butchered uneven crazy wild hair, when i left Houston Kennedy i had a sophisticated , modern hot new hairdo he didn't just cut my hair he gave me a look. i look so pretty thank you for fixing me Houston! btw he did everything on 60 minutes without even rushing he is a true high skilled professional hairstylist, and charming young man.
