I placed an order on 12/7 for a ring for my husband for Christmas. It never arrived. The cranky old man on the phone said I had to communicate by email. So I send an email looking for the ring. I get told I just ordered it the week before; so I asked if that's the case, why did you get my money on 12/8? I asked for a tracking number; never provided that. Then they said the hold up was that I didn't put a state in my order yet they generated an order with a number and had contact information, etc. Miraculously, I think a refund is going into my account but the BBB needs to shut this business down. All they have is excuses; they obviously are not working the 12 steps; one is to accept responsibility and be held accountable. They are offering not but excuses...not solutions. They are not a good example of a great organization.

I ordered a 28 year token for my sponsor on 23 nov 2023 and paid $8 to have it shipped 80 miles (west hollywood to san clemente,ca). It arrived on 30 nov and instead of 28 years the token was a 33 year chip. I had ordered in plenty of time (so I thought) for my sponsor's anniversary but not I only had a few days to solve the problem. I call a guy at the store who claimed to be 'management'. He was rude, unapologetic and refused to even consider expediting another token so that I could have something to give my sponsor on his anniversary. I'm pretty sure you could teach a nine year old how to read roman numerals. Never do business with this company. Go to Hazelton or The Token Shop or anywhere else. Save yourself some pain.

These reviews from this store are old. My experience recently was not good. Friend bought an extra large t shirt for me and I said I am a large. Long story short, dealing with the cranky old man on the phone is not a joyful experience. He said he would contact me when the size came in but never did. It's been two months now. I have emailed and no response. His attitude is what troubled me the most. So he gets a 1 star and the store itself has decent merchandise for sale for people in recovery, but I'll go to Amazon for the same mechandise in the future. Customer service is relevant these days, and this store lacks it.

I ordered a coin on October 9, 2023 before 11AM PST, as stated on their website, and paid over DOUBLE the price of the coin to have it delivered in one or two days. It never arrived on October 11, and, when I checked on October 11, I noted it NEVER SHIPPED. The 12 Step Store has repeatedly sent emails stating that they only ship on business days and since Monday was a holiday (Columbus Day) they do not ship, yet the tracking number states that a label was created on October 9 and USPS was waiting for the package. On the evening of October 11...two days later...USPS has NOT received the package. Nevertheless, despite proof to the contrary, the 12 Step Store states it was shipped. I have contacted my credit card company and disputed the charge. I wish I had read the reviews before ordering...I'm not alone...several similar complaints! Word to wise...use a credit card when purchasing so you can dispute the transaction when you don't receive what you paid for.

Ordered on line immediately posted payment to my account. Never received any confirmation for my order. Have no way of tracking my order. No number to call or you get mailbox not set up yet. Sent email with no response. I feel like the whole thing is a scam…..buyer beware

Terrible customer service. My online order has not been fulfilled & I received no communication about tracking or why it had not shipped. I reached out & they rudely told me it was delayed, with no ETA. I won't be surprised if I never get my item or a refund. The only reason they are still in business, is lack of competition. I hope another store comes along, so I never have to get coins here again.
