Quaint and cute little place. Loved the Arugula Salad (so light and refreshing) and Focaccia Bread. For an extra $1.50, definitely get the bread! So fresh and delicious. The Calzone was okay, it definitely was huge. I would have liked it better if it was spicier. Would like to go back and try their ravioli and some pasta dishes soon. The staff was great!

Absolutely outstanding. Nothing less. The house-made focaccia is out of this world and the only thing that tops it is the hospitality of the staff - Edwin and Arturo were wonderful. Antonio has really created a gem of a restaurant with so much intention behind the food!Food: 5/5

So good I came back the next night. There's some other famous pizza places in the LA area do to some Netflix shows, famous yes, but good pizza no. Made in Italy puts other to shame, if some one told you this was the best pizza they had, it most likely was. I also had a pasta, a main, appetizer just so very good. Service excellent as well.

Delicious food and a nice environment. The Crostini appetizer is great and their pastas are fresh with a few sauce options. I’ve had the cacio pepe, taglierini, pesto sauce, arrabiatta and they have all be superb. Highly recommend!!

I can definitely say I enjoyed my experience here after my wife has been trying to drag me here forever lol. The customer service is definitely top notch. Everyone is super nice, happy and energetic. The wait times are not too crazy to get your food from when you order, which is something I love and the food was really really delicious The food and drinks actually felt like it was made by somebody that cares about their craft if that makes the sense. I would definitely say if I'm nearby it's a great spot to stop by for lunch

We ordered a fancy/special pizza with fresh figs and cheese and mushrooms (all fairly sparse). The crust was amazing, service friendly and kind, and we also ordered eggplant which was really delicious. We were surprised that the Fig pizza was around $30 (not on the regular menu, and will ask next time bc the rest of their pizzas were not that pricey). Sat outside on their cute patio

This was a great surprise, a gem. Located in a strip mall next to western bagel & a fish& chips store, Made In Italy woqd us with great service and food. The chicken panning sandwich and tuna salad were very good for a lunch stop. Outdooe seating on the sidewalk & umbrella tables in the cordoned off parking area gave it a slice of fresh air. Inside seating also plentiful. The dessert Calpine looked amazing and huge ( taBle next to us). Everything looked and tasted fresh & authentically made. Not fine dining, but casual & great food.

Had high hopes for this place but the meal I just ordered was extremely underwhelming. I ordered the meatballs and a pizza. The meatballs were so salty I almost couldn’t finish them. They were also hard as a rock and the flavor was just off.I picked up the food right after it was ready and drove 10 min home. The pizza was mushy and fell apart. I think a lot of people who like this place maybe just haven’t had actual good Italian food. I’m from Brooklyn so maybe I’m a bit spoiled when it comes to pizza and meatballs, and yes I’ve been to Italy as well.

Party of 5 for dinner. One glass of wine, two mixed drinks, two appetizers, one small salad, and 5 entrees for 250$ before tip. Meh. Not a lot of protein in any of the entrees, flavors not very robust. Service chaotic. I’d rather save that kind of money for Mastros, where quality ingredients and attentive service matter. Go to Yelp and read some of the owner responses to their not-great reviews. They are very snotty, casting aspersions on customers, as if they have no sense, are crazy, don’t appreciate “authentic” Italian food, etc. These are people who paid good money to patronize is place, yet the owners turn it around as if they can do no wrong, and all blame lies with the customer. If you choose to go to this establishment, be ready to just take what they let you have and be happy about it, or else they’ll insult you with aplomb. This place will certainly fail with that attitude. They probably crap on their vendors, too.

So me and the most beautiful woman in the world went for our Hhmidy hmmth anniversary to Made in Italy Bistro. We chose MIIB mainly because it is one of the few places in the conejo valley that makes their own pasta and because they also have gluten free options. Don't let this place fool you. Yes it's in a strip mall and is surrounded by a McDonald's and a hardware store but this place packs a punch. We had a sausage and mushroom w truffle oil along with their home made lasagna. I am loving this place because it is so cute. The service is great and you cannot get hand made pasta anywhere else. Go with confidence and take a trip to Italy without all the TSA lines and getting crammed into a plane seat.

I love that there's an Italian place that has housemade pasta but does not feel uppity. Mainly wanted to try this place because my MIL is gluten free and saw that some of their pastas can be requested gluten free. Quaint sit down restaurant that has both outdoor and indoor seating. Service was great, the wait staff knew the menu, especially with the MIL's dietary restriction. Started off with the bread (ofc) -- I wish they automatically serve olive oil + vinegar since it is after all an Italian restaurant. Crostone $14.25, burrata, cherry tomatoes, basil, balsamic glaze. (4) was great, nice burrata to everything else ratio. Egg Parm $14.50, it was okay, no complaints other than the serving size is on the smaller side Penne marinara sauce for the kiddo - nothing to write home about. Again, nothing wrong with this restaurant, it's just slightly on the pricey side with consideration on the serving size you get. I do really appreciate the gluten free pasta. Alsoooo if you have little humans, like me, they do not have a kid's menu and most plates average about $15-18. So you can see how the tab adds on quickly

I love this place! Best Italian food period. The chef and owner, Antonio is from Naples and is kind, thoughtful and super talented!I cannot recommend it more! My son loves the homemade gnocchi that he asks for with ragu’. Everyone loves the pizza and I adore the it salads. There’s truly something for everyone. It’s not a fast food Italian , so it’s not cheap, but it’s fair when you know that the chef goes to the market and handpicks everything fresh and the quality go the ingredients is superb!
