Called to find out if they had a product to send the production assistant to get it for set. AMAZING customer service by a very courteous girl on the morning of March 19. Where the first place I called the guy had no idea if they had it and didn't even bother to ask. Thanks for the awesome impression. My PA said they were very nice when he went.

Good tools at good prices!You can easily build a comprehensive starter kit of hand tools for just $150 at this store. Very generous return policies as well should any tool fail.

Store return policy is garbage and antiquated. I returned an unused $23 gardening tool with receipt and well within their 90 day window. At the minimum they needed either an ID or my name, address, and phone number to process the return. Why do you need this much info? Isn't my receipt enough? Get with the times! Stores don't require this much info unless you don't have a receipt, it's outside the return window, or something questionable. I can understand if it were a big ticket item like $100 power tool (with receipt) why they may want more information (to track patterns of frequent returns by the same customers). But the same effort for a $23 pitchfork? Come on. Maybe I am a little sensitive because two credit cards were recently fraudulently applied for under my name and address. Or maybe some dingbat at Corporate thought it would be a good idea to require customers and store employees to go through this extra effort to discourage returns? Well let me remind you that cheaters are gonna cheat! Don't focus your policy on the 1%. You will not grow your business that way. At least not you won't be getting my money any more.

They have a lot of sales going on for what's left of Black Friday and on coming Christmas. I was so temped to buy but ended up with a mini shovel instead. I have to say staff are very helpful, customers are quite mean. I only tried to ask staff what's their return policy, customer got upset thinking I tried to cut the line :(

I was looking for a bike rack for my SUV. I went online and someone recommended HFT. I found exactly the style I was looking for: A rack that attaches to an existing trailer hitch so no drilling is required. In addition, the price was $44.99! The price was at least $100 less vs others I saw online. HFT has numerous locations. The location I visited is on the border of Westminster & Huntington Beach. There was plenty of parking, and the salesperson who assisted me was super helpful. He also signed me up for their periodic emails, so I can keep apprised of deals in the future. All in all, a great experience bc of the price and good customer service. I highly recommend HFT for all your tool and accessory needs.

Darrin the manager refused to return a defective jackstand. It was under warranty. He was advised of the huge liability & refused an exchange for another model putting his corporate at significant risk. He said he didn't care. I love harbor freight tools concept and have been a loyal customer for years, however they should feel shameful of such poor customer service.
