Camp Far West Lake is a large and beautiful area perfect for outdoor activities like boating, jet skiing, fishing, camping, and paddleboarding. Visitors enjoy the scenic views, with ducks diving into the water and birds singing in the trees. The lake offers a day-use boat dock and camping spots on the north and south shores, which do not need reservations unless a specific spot is desired. Entrance fees are around $35 per car or $45 with a boat, and seasonal passes are available. Restrooms include port-a-potties and full bathrooms near the entrance, kept clean during visits. The lake is well-maintained, with visitors respecting the environment by not littering. Many find it suitable for all water sports and appreciate the relaxed atmosphere. Some wish there was more shade, but bringing a popup shade easily solves this. Overall, Camp Far West Lake provides a relaxing, enjoyable experience for families and outdoor enthusiasts alike.
