I cannot comment on the condition or services at the gym because I have not gotten past the poor customer service. On Monday 2-19-24, I walked to LAFitness from my house. I met with Leslie Reza who said my Silver and Fit gym membership had expired. I had not been since before the pandemic started. She reinstated me. At my request, Ms. Reza made an appointment for me on 2-21-24 with Elvin, a personal trainer. She asked me to leave a positive review if I had had a positive experience with her. I did initially have a positive experience.On 2-21-24 I came for my appointment with Elvin Castro at 1130a. I was on time and checked in at the front desk. My appointment was noted, and the woman at the front desk asked me to have a seat to wait. At 1140a, the woman from the front desk came to the table where I was seated and said Elvin needed 15 more minutes and asked if it were ok. I said ok. At 1201p she said Elvin was on his way. At 1205p, which was 25 min later than 1140a, not 15 min. By then Mr. Castro was 35 min late for our appointment. I went to the front desk and spoke to a man named Angel and told him I needed to leave and that I'd like to make an appointment with someone else for personal training. No one called me back. Mr. Castro never called me to apologize for wasting my time. Subsequently, from 2-28-24 to 3-05-24, I left 3 messages for Leslie Reza to return my call. Ms. Reza returned my call after the second time I called her, but I missed her call. I called a third time, and she has not returned my call.

This use to be my favorite gym, but lately They have been allowing there male workers to clean the women’s lockers room/bathroom being fully aware there is women in the sauna partially clothed not to mention underage girls. I understand someone needs to clean but why would the male worker feel the need to stare in the sauna room as he’s passing by vacuuming ? Managment you need to do better. I am bringing this to aware others what is going on in the women’s locker room.

I started Aqua fit for the new year. Today was my second class. Norma is energetic and motivational. She took time to ensure everyone enjoyed the class. There was a new participant struggling, Norma showed the client an augmented exercise.

The few times I visited during the week I was able to use all the machines I wanted. The gym itself is quite clean, cardio upstairs, machines down stairs, juice and smoothie spot for pre and post workoutsThe members really take pride in their gym, everyone is nice and considerate about not hogging a machine and people actually sanitize it after. I don’t have to worry or strategize about my next move because they have an abundant number of machines are not hella busy.La Fitness may cost more than the competitors but I personally feel that this gym is worth it.Customer service can be better, the water refill station was not working, no service in the gym (have to connect to wifi) (missing star)

I come here at various of the day during the week days, mornings @ 6am, late afternoons after 6pm, weekends during the morning/afternoon and every time there always seems to be a cycling class or someone is cleaning the cycling room after the class. Even after the cycling room is cleaned, there is always a sign that says its closed. which makes it very hard to use any of the cycling machines.Side note, I only really notice the cycling room gets constantly cleaned but not the rest of the machines in the gym.Additionally, I was finally able to use the cycling machines on Saturday 9/30/23 before the 9:15am class began. However, 45 minutes before the class had even begun, many of the machines were being saved with peoples towels and items. So it was limited to how many were available. As I found one that was empty, I began to work out. During my workout I saw that the instructor was the one saving the machines for people who consistently go to the class. Which is unfair to the other people like myself who want to use the machines. This shouldn't be allowed to do since there other paying members.I have already made one complaint to the employees already. This is a growing frustration I have with this gym, hope something gets done about this as this is the closest and most convenient LA Fitness to me.

I had an amazing experience here. After I left I felt good and energetic and the staff here are so nice and welcoming. I will continue to come here. ?
