Nail tech did a rush job. I wanted my nails cut down a little bit but she cut them down really short . The acrylic is really thick and the nails look like a student did them. I will never go back. I will gladly go back to my old tech at Dixon nails even though I live 30 minutes away. I would not recommend this place to anyone.

I’ve been going to InStyle for years now after a friend brought me. I do dip on my fingers and gel on my toes and have done just plain colors or shown photos from Pinterest and they’ve always been able to do the designs I’m looking for.
This incredible design was done by Linda — she has done this twice for me for my annual pride nails. ? ? I always get complimented on my nails and I’ve never had issues with the entire dip nail falling off which I’ve had at other salons! They’re also good about removing the dip powder gently and it rarely causes pain which is unfortunately common elsewhere.
I see a hugely diverse clientele there (POC, men, LGBTQ+, old, young, etc.) which I love and I’ve always felt safe and comfortable there.
I’m always happy with their work and they’re all super nice! Sometimes they do get busy and you may have to wait, but I don’t mind that.

Update June 18, 2024. Helen did an amazing job and was able to pull off rainbow gel nails using my real nails to make an almond shape :)

I’ve only ever gotten my nails done with Linda. She’s the sweetest. Gives amazing attention to detail and she ALWAYS does an AMAZING job. I recommend making an appointment always because they do get very busy!

I recently moved back to woodland from Napa and have been on the hunt for a new nail tech. I finally found the one! Holly is absolutely amazing! I came in with a picture of nail art for inspiration and she executed! She didn't try to sell me on something I didn't want and helped to guide me in what kind of service would give me the best results. I had an acrylic base with gel polish nail art. The pic is when I first got them done about three weeks ago and I still get so many compliments, even thought it's been a few weeks. They aren't lifting at all either! Oh and Sabrina literally gave me the best pedicure I have ever received. And I've had a lot of pedicures!

Thanks for being awesome! Did all 4 of our pedicures super fast and were so nice. It was my dad's first time and his feet were pretty bad but they did such a good job and he enjoyed the experience

I've come here so many times and i absolutely love it. I came for a pedicure last weekend with my mom and it was so great. My mom goes weekly and always raves about all the employees here and the space. Very clean and professional! We love this place!

This is the second time getting my nails done by Victoria, and I'll definitely be back! Easy to book, professional, and fast af!! I have never gotten a full set done so quickly and efficiently . She did a better job than the reference picture I showed her. Love my nails, and they came out exactly how I wanted! Bring cash to pay

I've been having my nails done since the '90's and I admit it: I'm a nail junkie. Color, shape, and accuracy has to be exactly spot-on or I won't return. If it's all done on target I tip well and I'll be back. In Style nails is *the spot* in Woodland for excellent nail service. (I haven't yet had a pedicure there, but when I do I'll update this review.) I saw Victoria for my first nail appointment at In Style. She was perfectly precise and did an exceptionally beautiful job with my nails - the best by far that I've had done in Woodland and Davis (I've been to almost every nail salon in those towns). I'm sure she must do fantastic decorative nails. The salon was absolutely packed though, and V. seemed maybe annoyed with a co-worker...she was pretty abrupt, and made it clear that she only does decorative nails, so next time I need to see another tech in the shop (I had asked for a single color service). So next time I'll make an appointment with Holly. I watched Holly (next station to the one where I was seated); she seemed friendly and gentle in her manner, and thorough. In Style does have an enormous number of color options (including gel, dip powder, chrome and some other finishes), although all of the colors I saw were mostly bright and dark. A few lighter or "sheer" colors, but not many. I'm hoping they'll have the newer, lovely white-pastel DND Daisy Diva colors in soon (and the newer Diva colors also have vivid, gorgeous brights). Prices are fair, the same as other shops for the most part. 3 especially important ideas I want to share: First, You MUST have an appointment in advance (so, at least a day prior). While I was there many people came in for a service, but were turned away because no appointment, no time that day. How frustrating, right?! Secondly, I strongly suggest going in during the week-days because the week-ends are apparently wildly busy at In Style, making the vibe not peaceful or relaxing, especially because the size of the shop is small. 3: There is a sign saying that after July 1st (2024), only cash is accepted. (Annoying and I wish nail salons wouldn't enforce the cash-only requirement.) All said and done, I left In Style delighted with my nails. So far, I highly recommend In Style Nails. ***** Update: I went to Holly for a fill and gel polish. *WOW* Holly did a work of perfection with my nails. Every detail, exceptionally and absolutely BEAUTIFULLY done. I'm definitely returning to her next time.
