This park is great for kids of all ages. Enjoy the kids jungle gym, the shallow river pools, the shaded grassy lawn, and doggos! All is perfection here!

It’s a lovely park with a fun playground structure but despite the rule, many owners allow their unleashed dogs to roam free in the park, playground, and water, making it very difficult for small children. I wish the parks dept would enforce. There are signs but they are blatantly ignored.

UPDATE 8/16/2023: There is now a sign here that says all dogs must be leashed even when in the river.A beautiful family and dog park with a shallow, smoothly flowing stream for water play/access and an amazing playground for the kids.Several picnic tables for dining, and benches around for sitting. Not a large field, but one big enough to play catch, etc. if that's your goal.

Very cool climbing features. The park was great for young and old kids. A 4 year old at the park was climbing every side of the main climbing features and having a great time. The park had a mulch base with slides, swings for kids and infant, amazing climbing features for many levels, and it sits next to a beautiful shallow river bed (that is fed by a glacier and very cold). It did not have handicap swings, spinning features, or a fire pole.

Happening place, plenty of people, pets. Had a nice picnic area as well. Had a stream running in the middle where people drenched their feet, sat near water, children dogs playing in the water.Dog-friendliness: Plenty of dogs, they played in the stream along with childrenPicnic area: Limited picnic tables but I was on the entrance may be inside the park there will be more. There was a trail going through the park too for 10 miles where one can hike.
