I tried to deposit a united states postal service money order here but nobody here trusted me enough to let me put the money in my account. I even came back and brought the receipt. I work 8am to 6pm most days so it was difficult to squeeze in time to come down and they made me feel like they thought I was trying to scam them both times. Why would I put fraudulent money in an account tied to me? If it wasn't for every other westerra location offering me great customer service I would quit banking with them. I don't want to tolerate being treated like a criminal by my bank. And what lazy employees thinking I'm carrying fraudulent checks but not calling the police on me? No wonder this place has such a low rating

I had a deposit from my paycheck and I went to westerra credit union to get my pay check and the money was gone! saying there was a system error and that you're money will be here at the end of the day! When is end of day! They don't know anything except that it was a process error. My money was there in the morning, I come in the afternoon and it's gone. Don't trust this small time bank.

If I could give negative stars, I would.
Westerra Credit Union has been one of the worst places I have ever banked with. The only reason I stayed for years was because of Leslie. She is absolutely amazing, truly one of a kind, and the only part of this credit union worth anything. If it weren’t for her, I would have left long ago.
But I’ve had enough. The service is frustrating. The new layput feels like you're in a phone store, no privacy. Communication is poor. I’m tired of dealing with the constant issues.
I cannot wait to close my account. Do not waste your time or money here. Go literally anywhere else.

Tellers, including the Manager, are friendly, and knowledgeable.
Always helpful. I have been a member for over twenty years.
The hours are the only thing that needs improvement.

I recently left a review for Westerra that was quite unfair. While I don’t like that they only refund one late fee a year. I’m great fully happy and humbled they didn’t close my account and worked with me while I got myself under some financial discipline.Thanks Westerra!!!

Leslie is absolutely wonderful! She helped my daughter create her checking account a few months ago. We came in with more banking questions and concerns, and she remembered exactly who we were, and never fails to make sure that we leave with every concern taking care of. Westerra is lucky to have Leslie and I recommend this bank branch simply because she is there. Thanks Leslie for making a visit to the bank a wonderful experience.

You would think they would make adjustments to their set up in response to the 1.5 star rating on Google and copious amounts of feedback. But nah. They are gonna keep rocking with the incredibly inefficient set up of two people helping customers while one greets/creates a list of people waiting.
People are very nice; however the design is incredibly inefficient. There are only two tellers. And because they have two stand alone desks and not a traditional set up with actual lines, it takes a whole person to greet customers and manage them at the door. This person could be doing transactions. Management has got to consider revising this structure.
*One month later-they really are not going to consider their members’ feedback. Having one person greet people while two serve people is nothing less than absurd. You could get people out much faster, honoring their time, with a third teller instead of a greeter.
*Edit- Here we are months later- they have 1 1/2 stars and have nothing to pivot the ridiculous structure. There are 7 customers waiting- two employees helping and one greeting. The greeter could be helping. Trust us-we prefer urgency over having a whole
person greeting and managing us. Who thought that was wise? Put up another kiosk!!!

Serena and Leslie were extremely, kind, professional, knowledgeable and helpful.
They helped me to understand my accounts and were patient with me as I asked questions, seeking clarification. I learned a lot today. Leslie has been there for 14 years and is extremely knowledgeable and professional and is doing a great job training employees and delegating tasks. She knows her stuff and did a great job trying to help me understand things about my account that I was confused about.
