Soooo many of my most beloved items of clothing have been sourced from here. Not to mention the immaculate vibe every-time I come in. Sometimes there’s live music in lounge upstairs.
I tell everyone who’s visiting Boulder to go to Heady Bauer.

Such an awesome collection of vintage pieces and musical instruments! My daughter had the best time playing with everything. The owner is so kind, I lost my ID there and slipped a note under the door after they had closed asking if they found it to reach out to me. I had to fly home fly home the next day and sure enough, Penner sent me a text first thing that next day! So grateful. Thank you again!

Heady Bauer is truly a one of a kind place; as someone who was born here and family has roots here it feels like it’s kept a piece of the “old Boulder” that my family describes, where the business really feels like a 3rd space you can spend time in with good company. I regularly swing by just to jam in the music space or check out the new finds, and Pinner the owner is such a warm friendly presence. You might even get some good puppy love from his golden Hammy?

By far my favorite store to go to in Boulder!! This place is so much more than a vintage thrift shop. I was born and raised here and Heady Bauer holds down the vibes for this town in a beautiful way. After strolling in for no reason other than to get to know Boulder, I spotted a few musicians hamming together upstairs. They stopped briefly to invite anyone who was interested to pick up an instrument and jam with them. I happened to have my flutes on me, so we played together. Total random pleasure! Love the vibe of this spot. Super friendly owner and I assume his friends.

Such a rad and unique vintage shop! Best one I’ve been to in a minute. Great staff and an amazing music corner. Pinner and his team were welcoming and their style is unmatched. Wish I could live right above the store so I can hang with them anytime.

Edited from 5 stars to 3. I went back in today and bought the same item and it was a different price. I read other reviews about how they don’t label prices on items and prices changed based off the employee working. That’s not cool and not a good way to do business. Why did I pay $30 more yesterday than today?
I can’t recommend people do business here because that’s not good business practice. My original review still stands that the products found here are great, but the non labeled items and changing prices needs to go…

This is a an amazing shop. I went there to meet my gf and still left buying two things for me ? they have a really beautifully curated selection, I will be doing more of my actual shopping here to spice up my closet

Paid a visit to this shop yesterday and absolutely adored the groovy vibes! As someone who also owns a vintage store, it was truly amazing to witness the dedication to all things vintage that this shop radiates. You definitely need to come by and see it for yourself!

Great selection of clothes; they have some very unique items that are bright and pop out, bought three amazing shirts that are hard to forget! would recommend for first time visitors, tourists and locals
