Well in this area there are not really any other convivence stores so you got that. It is a tiny store. Like I don't think I have ever been inside a smaller convivence. They have a fair selection of snacks and drinks. The staff was very friendly. Why it's not special if you need a drink and a snack it serves it's purpose

I bought motor fuel for the first and last time. Oh, why? TV screen on the pumps showing loud obnoxious adverts. They are lucky I left my fire axe at home.

DO NOT BUY GAS OR SHOP HERE. EVERYTHING IS UPCHARGED ATLEAST 20%. He knows it too. The owner who works there knowlingly tries to rip off his customers. Do NOT give him your business. There’s another place a quarter mile away. Go there.

I was supposed to pick up a uhaul at 9am and called several days before to make sure I'd be good for pick up. An hour after my scheduled pick up the gas station is still closed.

This is a extreamly over priced gas station. They make up the price as they go along. They also rent U-Hauls here and I have heard people complain about all sorts of issues. The store owner is so cheap he won't run the A/C so do not buy candy there as it is melted because of the heat.

They display incorrect price to lure customers in and then you end up paying a different price. I brought this up with with the clerk, he didn't want to change to the display price.

I purchased 15 boxes on 12/27/17 and was double charged. The Conoco clerk was new and not familiar with the seperate U-haul purchase system and after running my credit card in person, was not sure it went through. She called her boss who manually entered my information on his end and typo'd the number of boxes purchased showing a slightly different total, I wasn't provided a receipt. I noticed on my credit card statement that both charges went through and went back a couple days later to have the accidental second charge removed. A different clerk said they couldn't do anything there and I needed to call Steven, the U-haul regional manager. When I called, Steven was pre-occupied and asked me to text him the issue. After texting, he didn't follow up and I had to call multiple times which ultimately resulted in nothing happening. After this, I had my credit card company inquire and U-haul responded that "Customer purchased two sets of sales items on 12/27/17 at Conoco on 38th in the amounts of $23.68 and $25.57. Both of these amounts are valid and no credit is due. customer was fully aware of the amount of boxes they purchased. please see attached." As support they provided their internal invoices with no customer signature or showing where the credit card transaction occurred. The reason the charges were different was because of a typo by the manager over the phone and they didn't look to see the charges were processed in two different locations. Ultimately, they should have done an inventory check (they don't carry a lot of boxes in this location, it would take minutes) and realized they have 15 boxes more than they should. Really poor experience, I ultimately paid double for some boxes and they didn't take ownership of their mistake. I would avoid purchasing U-haul boxes from any Conoco station in Denver.

This gas station is extremely overpriced ESPECIALLY for the quality of goods that they carry, and I would absolutely suggest going to any other gas station! I live down the street so I can tell you first hand that they have a drink cooler that barely keeps the drinks cold, so you have to get one from the very back because those are the only ones that are remotely colder than room temperature. Sometimes it can smell bad like BO and I notice it's usually the same clerk working every time it does, and I know it's not me. To top it all off, they have the individual small candies at the register that you can buy that are SO old that when I bit into my chocolate covered cherry, the candy filling was evaporated! SO disgusting, and just plain lazyness from this gas station! It seems like the owners are cheap because instead of asking or providing you with a plastic bag for your items, you have to ask them for one even when you clearly have a lot of stuff..just seems shady.
