I had a horrible experience working with Denver Tax Advisor, specifically Minesh. There were many mistakes on our tax return and he refused to answer our questions and help with an amendment after the fact. He has been impossible to get a hold of and unhelpful if and when we do. He was supposed to provide tax advise on our investment properties and instead he didn't even get our dependents right. I will never use DTA again.

I do not recommend working with Cathy Mueller. I cannot speak for the rest of the team as she is a new addition to Denver Tax Advisor. I have worked with her before she joined the team and she has since severed our provider/client relationship. We have worked with her for a couple of years now and we were confident in working with her again this year. Unfortunately, I've come to realize that she's been holding onto some resentment. She has never once communicated her concerns with us until she decided to let us go, which was immediate. Mind you, all communication has always been via email. We have never spoken on the phone nor in person. You can imagine that there has been some disconnect on both ends. If she had expectations, it should have been communicated. She set the standard by not doing so. Communication is not her forte and I have read other similar, negative reviews from her previous business, Mueller Accounting & Tax Services. If you care about having a positive relationship with a tax professional (which is pretty important in my humble opinion), choose someone else.

I've been using Jason Billingsley and DTA, for the past 6+ years. My experience has always been great. His communication is super and if you get your items to him on time you will receive your taxes done on time. He gives strong tax advice and financial guidance and not many firms can manage this. I moved my business over to DTA after spending an Easter Sunday at my old CPA's office- not hunting for eggs with my kids. Corp & Personal done right. Thank you, Charlie

Denver Tax Advisor was extremely easy to work with. They make the process simple no matter the complexity of the client. I cannot say enough good things about our advisor Jake Johnson. He was great to work with, extremely professional, and easy to reach. The level of service is top notch and would recommend them to everyone.

Jason has been my tax advisor for nearly a year now and I can't speak highly enough about the quality of his work, the responsiveness of his communication and the overall thoroughness of his office.
This is such a refreshing departure from other accountants I've worked with in the past who act "bothered" by simple questions, or who can't respond in a timely manner.
I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for assistance with personal or business tax guidance.
