After heading back to our room after a late night New Year's Eve party at the hotel, we crawled into bed exhausted, only to wake up to realize the sheets were filthy! There was lint all over the bed sheets and a gross film of sticky substance on the corner of the comforter. We were disgusted. Not usually one to complain, I decided to say something thinking they would want the feedback. The front desk was extremely apologetic and assured me that they would refund the room fee. I was extremely impressed with this response until I discovered they never did provide the refund. I called the hotel to ask what had happened and was told to wait a few more days for the refund to be processed. A few more days after that I still didn't see the refund so I followed up again. They tried to tell me I needed to reach out to a third party where the room was booked, but I stated the credit card room charge was specifically to the Crawford Hotel, not the third party where the reservation was booked. They took my information and assured me the refund would be posted within the next couple of days. Again, this never happened. I feel like they were just running through the list of things to say in hopes that I would eventually just give up and go away. I am extremely disappointed to have spent that amount of money just to be tossed aside as another disgruntled customer. I am sad to say this kind of treatment makes me never want to stay there again.

I cannot say enough about this place. We came down from the mountains and had to return our Turo a day before our flight. Our family of 5 (kids ranging in ages from 3 months to 11 years) stayed here. The staff was phenomenal. I was greeted by name (I had called ahead) and we were quickly granted early access to our room. So nice and helpful. I wish I had caught their names! Room was beautiful, the kids loved the free ice cream. A complimentary Lyft was called anytime we went somewhere within 2 miles. (Check out MeowWolf and LuckyStrike Bowling!) The train (which kids ride free) was a super easy, super quick ride to the airport for $20. We can’t wait to return. Don’t let the cost deter you. It’s worth every penny!! Take advantage of the amenities. We will return someday!!Nearby activities: Train to airport soooo convenient

They bought Union Station and are trying to tell me that I can’t sit here unless I’m staying at the hotel. This place obviously doesn’t have any sense of civic responsibility. You don’t get to do business in a piece of Denver history and treat it like the lobby of a Target. No, I don’t need a room key to sit here.

Whatever you've imagined about the Crawford Hotel by way of luxury and quality, it's all true. I've lived in Denver for 7 years and have always wanted to stay at The Crawford from my very first visit to Union Station. Staycations are my love language. Christmas Eve was the perfect time. The room was very clean and luxurious. High quality bedding and furnishings. Staff was kind and helpful. We took advantage of the complimentary amenities such as the ride service to go to dinner, coffee from Pig Train and ice cream from Milkbox. If Room 240 is available, request it. This room has a special feature that is rare to other rooms of it's kind. I'll let you be surprised.

The convenience of the hotel being apart of a literal train/bus station is so helpful. We were from out of town and rode the train from the airport to the station. (End of the A-Line) We came a little early, but the hotel offered to hold our bags while we grabbed food and even more convenient enough, there was a breakfast place, a coffee place, and an ice cream place all inside as well. They called us to let us know our room was ready. The safety is nice too, the station has security (considering it is a public train station) but fear not, you need a room key to use the elevator up to your room. When we got to our hotel room, it was clean and cozy. Being able to order room service using a QR code was so nice. We noticed the hot water wasn’t working in our room and called down, they had it fixed and steaming (the way I like it) within the hour. The waterfall shower head is fantastic and I could stand in it for hours. I also loved how soft and fluffy the bed and pillows were. The TV being able to swivel was really nice, we were able to sit at the desk and eat our room service. The hotel is within walking distance of the ball arena and a lot of good food places like The Original, Thirsty Lion, and Citizens Rail. We also found it super convenient that the bus station was right outside underground to take a Bustang to Vail, or the other ski towns. We thought it would be more noisy with it being a train station, and there being the Cooper Lounge right outside our room, but we honestly didn’t hear a thing. The amenities are also fantastic, free scoop of ice cream daily w/room key and a free drip coffee w/room key. & might I say, they are hefty scoops! (Perfect because me and my boyfriend share a love for both ice cream and coffee) overall, great experience, and I’d say the hotel was worth 5 stars!

We loved our stay at the Crawford! Being located inside of Union Station was amazing. We flew in and took the train directly to Union. The Crawford is literally within steps of the train. We were right in the middle of some of the hustle and bustle of downtown Denver, yet it was so quiet in the room. Absolutely blown away by that aspect! Front desk staff is amazing and so kind. We took full advantage of the added perks—coffee, ice cream, beer, free transportation within a couple of miles. Highly recommend doing that. The room (Pullman) was really unique, yet cozy and clean. The bed was so comfortable. Don’t forget to check out Snooze, which is right downstairs. Excellent breakfast! When we return to Denver, we will surely be staying at the Crawford again!
