I've been renting here for about five years. I pay for 24/7 access, and have never been able to access the place past 10pm. There is almost nobody ever there, so it's no surprise I've seen cops there twice because peoples units get robbed. Oh, and if you try calling their helpline when the door stop working, no one will answer. From someone that has had a bad experience with this place for five years, I'm recommend you find a better place. This place is not worth the headache.To U-Haul, how hard is it to do your jobs. It's managing storage unit, a monkey could do it.

DO NOT RENT EQUIPMENT FROM HERE.The reviews on here say it all. I reserved a Uhaul 10' truck a week in advance to pick up on Sunday at 8am. I get there only to find out that in fact THEY ARE NOT 24/7 and closed all day Sunday. On top of that, the equipment wasn't even prepared for a contactless pickup. Luckily, the Conoco on Federal had what I needed.I REPEAT, DO NOT RENT EQUIPMENT FROM HERE.Go to the Conoco on Federal instead.

My truck reservation was set to 9 pm after I explicitly selected 9 am. Didn't realize until there was no truck to pick up. There are no trucks available in a 15 mile radius of me and now I can't move. I will never be using Uhaul again.

If I could leave negative stars I would. The lady was unbelievably rude and everything was digital we were charged and waited 45 minutes never got a U-Haul and couldn't get ahold of anyone at the corporate office

When I arrived to pick up my truck I was not able to complete the online pick up process but the system still allowed me to check in. It was only after being on hold for 30 minutes trying to reach a representative that I learned that my truck had been rented to another customer without any notice being given to me. I had to instead go to the mile high location which charged me $20 more than my original quote. I was charged for 3 gallons of fuel despite driving only 10 miles.

They didn't have the truck I needed ready (it was there but they couldn't get it unlocked). After wasting ten minutes trying to find a worker and then thirty minutes trying to get it unlocked they switched me to a smaller truck which meant we couldn't get the whole job needed in time because the storage unit across town closed on us since we had to do multiple trips with the smaller truck and started 45 minutes late. Not sure how an entire company loses track of a padlock code and tells you something is reserved a week in advance just to not have it readily available.

I had an incredible experience with U-Haul Storage of Highlands. Important! You should know that it doesn't have an office within its facilities, so you will have to sign your paperwork at another location--but the other location is really close by (it's like five minutes away!)The people who work there are FANTASTIC. Even though it was the VERY END OF THE DAY, after signing the paperwork to secure my unit and heading back to the U-Haul Storage of Highlands, someone promptly showed up, gave us access to our unit, and did so with incredible kindness and professionalism.The unit was clean, it was easy to access the building, and everything feels very secure! A++ to this location!

Me and 2 other parties had to cancel our reservations because there was no employee to check us in. Additionally the pick up instructions were not covered in the confirmation email, so none of us knew we needed to download the app or what was going on. It took 15 minutes to even figure any of it out. I now have to take off work tomorrow to have time to move.

Went in for moving boxes and they wouldn’t sell me any. (:
